So ...I never posted bout my trip to Arizona..but it was AWESOME and I cannot wait to go back next year when my grandparents go back! It was such great weather..i got my first sunburn..lol did LOTS of shopping and spent time with my grandparents...next time I'm gonna try and stay for two weeks instead of just the one week.
The only crappy part was the flights..on the way there i had a delay for my first flight and my 2nd was fine and on the way back I was delayed sitting ON the plane for an hour and a half..and then my 2nd flight to come home was delayed and then cancelled and I almost couldn't get home..needless to say they felt so bad that I was travelling on my birthday and that me seat got changed twice since they thought I was travelling with this old lady that I helped on the plane and stuck me besider her..and neways..they felt so bad that they bumped me up to first class!!! :) so i had free alcohol and first class all to myself:D

The crappy crappy part was the air pressure...does it reallyyyyy bother any of u? Just when I thought I couldn't go any more deaf..BAM..I was plugged up for a day and couldn't hear anything..and what was worse is that my ears felt weird the whole week I was there and then it was worse coming back cuz I had to do it all over again...the one funny part...and u got to love ppl who are trying to be helpful but just have NO clue...lol ...Since I was travelling along I made sure to board first as priority since I couldn't hear when they called the seats etc so when I boarded I let them know I was deaf and in case of an emergency etc to please come to me directly and speak clearly...welll everyone was very helpful and nice lol but this one guy who clearly meant well was like Do you read braille?:giggle: ...I was like lol no I don't haha i read lips and have hearing aids he was like Ok whats ur seat and all this and then reexplained to me where the exits were and bathrooms and such after they did there lil show to the rest of the plane...lol it was quite funny and It boggled my mind on how little some ppl know about ppl who are deaf/ blind etc
lol but overall...great trip for my first time flying alone:)

Must have been cool to fly there by yourself.. but interesting thing about the cabin pressure and etc.. ahh.. however ya did have fun right?

Yeah, I have issues with cabin pressure. One time, my left ear was getting worse, and I even had to yank my hearing aid out of the ear, and it seemed to work. Bizarro! From now, I won't fly without my ear planes. You can buy it for about $5-$7.

I never had any problems with cabin pressure and ear issues. But I never had "popping" ear drums or funny feelings when we go up in mountains high up for camping either. Everyone else seem to say they feel it. But then again I found out Im much more weird with stuff.

mines not an uncomfortable pain..mine is like excruciating pain...next plane ride I go on is going to be a one way instead of taking transfers...but YES I had a great time shopping and spending time with my grandparents etc. :) I tried taking my ha's off and it didn't help...lol oh well..

When I was america, I was supposed to fly to Phoniex, AZ in part of my transfer to Washington D.C but boy, was I glad, it was cancelled, because I was dreading for the transfer would cause problems, however it was cancelled due to the weather - was given a free transfer to direct flight free of charge with U.S Airways, and I was glad I got it. :)

Other than that, I got used to these popping/pain feeling from the ears, it is normal due to the pressure on the flights, it happens to me sometimes, but i got used to it, as I am now a frequent flier :cool2:

Nah, I don't get cabin pressure... it doesn't seem to bother my ears.... but there has be one time that my ears were in awful pain while I was flying to New Orleans, but that was because I was traveling while having a cold at the same time. However I do get ear popping every time the plane lands and god, I hate that.

I'm glad you had great time in Arizona... I've always wanted to visit there.

My ears tend to pop when I go thru mountains en route to either Luray Va or Staunton Va.

I get them too when I fly.
