It's a movie. Gosh.
If they made a movie like "DEAFNESS" and everyone became deaf due to a virus. They can't find their way around the caves because at the exit, there's a music playing, "Beethoven". Does that offend you? I'd laugh if they failed because I'd use my NOSE. The key to survival is indeed to use your nose, instinct.

Yeah, sure we get some movies that produce the sign language, but not much. Anyway, they are just making the movies for the money and the author or bestseller get more money doing that, that is my guess. We are on your side that it is stereotyping and we don't like it either. You are not alone and you are just like us, Deafies and HOH who are discriminated by the hearing population.

So please - just don't get overly sensitive in here. There are movies that make a dumb joke based on stereotype and other movies that are based on unknown fear. This Blindless movie is the latter so no I don't find it offensive. Mr. Holland's Opus is the latter as well.
