integrity and agreements
It's all about perspective. Everyone sees something differently. There are all truths - I have my truth, and you have yours. So how can something be a lie or worthless if it's a feeling from being directly involved in an actual situation? Best to agree on disagreeing when it comes down that, and to walk that talk - IMO. Without mutual understanding on equal terms, it's hard to not get feelings hurt... everybody hurts. That sucks. I can agree to this - we have different ways of looking at this and that we can disagree with each other and still get our needs met.
It's a big chunk of energy to worry about what somebody thinks, or how your rep is - IMO. I know if I PM somebody that I don't feel close to, I totally expect that person to share the private message/s with others. I've learned the hard way. That's fine, too. I find it's unrealistic to just expect others to keep the info you PM'd private simply because you want them to without both making verbalized agreements. Both must agree on making PM private, IMO, for the person to apologize for crossing a boundary. That's one part of having integrity. Nobody can make you do things you don't agree to, IMO. I think that has been the main friction in most problems lately. If you would like to discuss about this further, a new thread or PM would be in order.
Agreements also play a big role on empowerment for both parties - and see how much magic they can do with something potent as a rant forum
As long as you're in your integrity (somebody else's idea of how things should be done doesn't count at all - YOUR ideas do, at least they should), you have nothing to worry about, right? That is how I feel, and it's fine with me if some of you don't agree with it. No problem.
I respect everyone's right to have opinions - they are not less valued than mine to me, and I hope I will get the same in return.

Not exactly a good role model for young children, especially when they are parents themselves!!
