Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

So....who saw the parade on TV? I didn't....b/c I was there! I came to NYC for Thanksgiving (my sister lives in Brooklyn) and we got up at 6:00 am and took the subway to Times Square! We were only two rows from the front, and were right under the MTV studios! I gotta say....WHAT an experiance seeing it!!!! We got to see EVERYTHING....I have to say my favorite float was the Sesame Street one....so cute! I was surprised to see Sign language being used on one of the floats, but they weren't using it too fluently. The only downside was not being able to hear the performers who do the songs from Broadway shows...we could see it on the Jumbotron, but not hear them :( Oh well, I had a blast anyway....and going to see the parade is HIGHLY....and I mean HIGHLY reccomended! Another thing checked off of my "Things to Do Before I Die List!"
 
Dyke why dont you plan another trip. Thats to pasendina ca and watch the rose bowl parade. Thats better than macys thanksgiving parade.
 
Rock on. I was watching the parade alongside the Indy game on my tri television set.

It was sweet. Oh, there goes a word I use rarely.
 
Yea my kids and i watched TV and saw few people use Sing Signs. It is not very clearly to understand their signs. :( but other floats were fun to watch... my kids know all of them and exticed to watched until Noon. :)

I don't think many of us can shop at Macy's so whats the big deal of watching the parade when you can't afford to shop at Macy's? heh!

Are you sure we can't afford shopping at Macy's?

Not even with the 0% interest offers?? Oh that's right, people who shop there pays in cash, I forgot. Sorry.
 
I missed the parade because I was working.. OH WELL! But I caught some little of it on tv at my work but not most of it. I guess it was good..
 
I tried to watch Thanksgiving parade, but I always miss the part when Santa Claus came in. :(
