Hi there, everyone!
I'm doing a project for my college class and want to demonstrate why context matters in lip-reading. My idea was to hand out sheets to people and have them guess which words on their sheets I was saying. Then, I would have them get together with each other to double check, and have them realize that their words and worksheets are different.
The trouble? Coming up with the words that look identical. Google hasn't yielded many results, and experimenting is taking me quite awhile.
Can you think of any words that closely resemble each other?
So far, I *think* I've got a few.. such as chair/share/jar... maybe went/rant/won't... bah. I am so not creative!
Thank you for your thoughts! Any advice is appreciated. =)
