~ Kitchen Decorate~

Umm - mine is all dry walls. I haven't thought up of what I like for the walls just yet. Maybe, wood ?? :dunno:
There's always a plenty of time to decide what I like later. :)
This time, I am buildin' stairs in the backyard before I add the "Pet Door" for my dogs.

They don't always paint the walls red. Sometimes they just use red accents, like red checkerboard tablecloths, red curtains, red trim, red sign lettering, red cups, red aprons, red packaging on take-out containers, etc.

Mine is Lemons, Limes, Colbalt Blue Decorations. As you can see I love Lemon and Lime. lol. Walls just beige right now. Oak wood cabinets, Hunter Green counter top. Got many stained glass items that hang on my windows. On a sunny day the colors just flow in and it mays me feel good.

As far as the yellow color being depressing, if was puke yellow then yea, but lemon yellow works for me. :D

Oh yeah, got plants in there too.

Now to think of the red accents.. I went to Chinese Restaurant the other night.. they had red accents .. red tablecloths, red borders, pics of red stuffs.. floor is red.. so on.. but the wall was white. intereting! ha..

:confused: What´s this? What´s kind of kitchen with apple style? Can you show example picture because I can´t find them in website... It sounds good because I never heard like this before.

I'll post pictures soon to show you my Kitchen. It's nothing really special really, because I live in an old house and they still have old cabinets, I only did painted job in the kitchen and put an apple wall papering boarder all around the kitchen and decorate the kitchen as well, I did brought a celing fan for the kitchen cuz all they had when I moved in was a light bulb with no cover. :shock:
 
Yeah, I have all the apples collections sitting on the counter or hang up on the wall. Since I live in an apartment, most apartment are not allow to paint unless if you want to paint then you have to pay for it. But when I moved in here, in the kitchen it already was red so I don't have to paint :mrgreen:

How did I got it from...my aunt, she had apples collections EVERYWHERE in her kitchen and dinning room so it looks so good, I just decided to do the same thing.

BabyAngel, We have something in common which that is apples collection in our kitchen. I learned about apples from one of the Country stores at the mall, I thought how neat and cozy that would make my kitchen. So I decide to buy a lot of apple collections and also some crafts that would make it more like a country apple kitchen. I also have candles which apple pie, apple spice, apple cinnamon. ;)
 
i collection apples for my kitchen i make something with crafts too also i have apple cookies jar and sait and peper shaker apple is sait pear is peper, and some candles.

Oh yes!! I brought me some crafts and sew it on the chair seat. It looks awesome. I also have a BIG picture of bears with apples so I put it in the middle of the kitchen, it looks so cute. Every time my family or friends came over, they loved my kitchen. I am planning to get apple curtain for my new apartment where I will move to in few months since I don't have any window in my kitchen at my place right now.

I also have two rugs that have apples on it so I put it in the kitchen :D

You're more than welcome, Keep in mind I need to get batteries for my camera so I hope to get that when I return home from Florida, then I'll take a few picture shots of my kitchen to show you. :hug:


BabyAngel, That's great! ;) I don't have apple rugs yet, only plain hunter green rugs. Maybe somedays I'll get those apple rugs. :hug:
 
with the apple cinnamon candles around .. and lighted.. did u know that it will just enchance your sense of smell making you hungry and wanting to eat something sweet??? LOL..

like for example.. true story.. ha.. my mom- she got few candles for christmas or something i cant remmy. few years ago.. anyway we lighted it up every other day to keep kitchen smell good.. it drove my mom crazy.. eating eating something sweet.. she finally figured it out it was the candles.. she put them up .... now she is not hungry anymore.. LOL.. i thought it was so funny.. hahaha.. i dont know if some of u have this plms?? lmao.. heh :giggle:
 
The color is not accurate in my pictures (I took them late at night with flash) but you can get a general idea of the appearance. My countertops are not yellow; they just photographed that way.
