King Kong

That re-make movie, King Kong, reminds me alot of that movie I saw when I was 16 years old. That was in 1980ish! Looks really good with cool effects.

I can't wait & take you Dragon_Shadow, to see it!

update:

just heard that King Kong would swing onto the Playstation 3, as well. :|

...proably by the time it arrives on DVD.

I MUST!!!!!! watch that movie cause i am sooo crazy over monkeys :wackit:

Peter Jackson's King Kong is gonna be one of the best films in years. From the ads and trailers I've seen, it looks really really good.
Oh yeah, I've played the OPM demo. Michel Ancell has done a good job. :wackit:

I played the demo version of the game at my local Walmart. I was lost. I guess it's cuz I didn't play it enough. ;)

Just beat "King Kong" on the Xbox version tonight and I gotta say...it wasn't really a very long game but friggin' sweet storyline with real actors and actress' voices in the game from the movie with Jack Black as Carl, the film maker, and Jack, the screenwriter, and Namoi Watts, an actress along with the crew to a mysterious island where it makes your nightmare comes true.

Whatever happens at skull island stays at skull island.

It was interesting playing as Jack, in FPS mode with guns, spears, and sharp bones, etc...just be warned that guns are very limited in the game and you have to really use your brain and figure out other ways to get out of those situations, etc...so often use spears and bones at small enemies and uses guns on small dinouars like raptors, etc...but with HUGE dinourars especially the T-Rex...it's completely hopeless to kill the T-Rex in such adult size. There are some "baby" T-rexes that aren't too hard to kill but with adult T-rexs, it's completely hopeless and you have to figure out to survive this situation.

HINT: T-Rexs are ALWAYS hungry, so if you find "bats" flying around in the sky, use the gun or spear and shoot at it and it will fall on the ground and will seek the T-Rex's attention and goes after it for a meal.

With Kong as in third person mode, I absloutely LOVE IT! climing on walls, swinging on trees and tombs, and beating the crap out of monsters and dinouars, etc... especially getting in fights with other T-Rexes it was quite a neat experience.

...too bad he died in the end. :( that carl should've known better than thinking about money all the time...bastard.

Great looking graphics, as it is so much like the movie too. great controls too..wasn't too hard or using to play as Jack and/or Kong.

"King Kong" is now on Sony's PSP and later on will swing on the Playstation 3 next year.

A MUST own for King Kong fans, indeed.

I love that movie which much better than old movies. It looks so realistic!

Must buy a game too.

LOL
