Jesus was a communist

Communism is a political and economic system that forces people to surrender their personal property and rights.

Jesus never forced anyone to surrender their personal property or rights. Christians who follow Jesus and His teachings do so voluntarily, of their own free will.

Jesus never endorsed one earthly political or economic system over another.

Yeah, that right.

Jesus did say Give up your wealth..Heres how he said it

And I read something like this

There's little to say in the face of such radical simplicity. Give up your wealth and possessions—all of it—and follow Me.

Have you answered Jesus radically or regretfully— "Yes" or "No"? Ask Him to show you when and what needs to leave your hand. Go to God and say, "Everything I have is Yours Lord. Show me what to do with it as Your good and faithful servant." He will.

Get earth out of heaven's way. Turn your wealth, abilities, and dreams over to God and enter into the joy of your Lord

Many Christians say that communism is evil and unchristian but they fail to realize that Jesus was a communist. Jesus told the rich to give up his wealth and distribute to the poor - the VERY basis of the communist belief.

I'd say he was a democrat if you follow the belief of "the rich to give up his wealth and distribute to the poor". Lets raise taxes for only the wealthy and then take those extra taxes to keep the poor, poor. Visit your local 'projects' and see what social programs are paying for...and how they are a downward spiral that no family will ever escape.

Jesus isn't a communist or any politics, not even close to it. Its not rich istself what Jesus point out. Rich man is very wealthy and he thought follow all ten commandemtns after Jesus mentioned, but seeing inside the rich man what he hold back and know of his greed and also, overlook the sums of God's view. Jesus didn't say being rich is a sin. He points out by relying money itself and trust money itself, he's doesn't have money, money had him. Noticed how Jesus felt for that rich man who walked a way? This what its about. His love for people of all kinds is all His message is about.

For my views, that communism isn't good and not much to give freedom what USA does. I'm not familiar with communism because I don't live in China, Vietnam or Cuba. I believe that jesus isn't communist and it seems much attract to our christian views. It's don't matters if poor or rich but I'm against on high taxes, it's not good for people.

Yea, I agree with you.

The thread here remind me of Jehovah Witness...

Some Stars/famous people gave their wealth up for Jehovah Withness belief.

I asked one of my deaf friends who was British wrestler star who gave everything up for Jehovah Withness and change into window cleaner why he gave his wealth up. I can see he was being brainwashed when he explained me accord belief. "Make a lot of money is a Greedy - why you need a lot of money for? Look at poor people - gave their wealth to charity because you don´t need a lot of money for yourself but them".

Subject about Communists... I beleive the reason why Netrox label Jesus as communist because the people gave their wealth life up for being communist in some countries. (example Russia, Cuba, etc.)

I'm not familiar with communism because I don't live in China, Vietnam or Cuba.

Communism is an economic ideology... Stalinism uses the Communist economic model with Fascist state-loyalty and government absolutism.

Most "real" Communists wouldn't consider Stalinism a legitimate form of Communism because it does not believe in personal freedoms.

Personally, I'm of the opinion that Stalinism doesn't work and that a Libertarian Communist state is probably the only Communist model that can. It could only work on the small scale with a small number of people, though.

There is no way Jesus Christ would support communism. Jesus Christ would have supported the capitalist form because you have the freedom to work or to be your own boss and start up a company, hire another people to work for you. Communism is forced labor.

If Jesus was alive today, I dont think he would have been interested in economic systems such as capitalism or communist or whatever else out there. I think he would have focused on spreading the word of love to all mankind and leading by example. He is not interested in worldly matters, only love.

I agree. I believe that He would, but He also will judge them who said that He is a communist or dictator.

CyberRed, I reread this thread twice and I haven't seen anyone utter the word "dictator" toward or about Jesus. Be sure to track down the ninth commandment in King James's Ten Commandments. And let's not forget that Jesus, assuming that you do believe in him, will judge whoever carry out malicious behavior or exhibit inappropriate attitude toward homosexuals, liberals, conservatives, dopeheads, odds and ends. Check under Matthew 22:39-40 for clarification.

I'll admit I didn't read the Bible but my friends did. That's how I got the sermons.

Point taken.

Re-read again, Ruliya. There was on page 1, post # 5.

Yes, I am aware of Matthew 22:39-40. I grew up a Christian and found Jesus Christ at the age of 18 and accepted Him as my personal Saviour. :)

Ruliya-

How come you don't believe in God? Does it mean that you have NO faith in God?

I must tell you that God is there, God is real for sure, because I've witnessed God on my own many times. It's so amazing. God loves you very much and God gives people test to see if you have a faith in Him or not.

Communism is an economic system. A dictatorship is a political system. While many of the world's communist countries have been dictatorships, one does not imply the other.

Buckdodgers-

I understand how you feel. Maybe God knows your weakness. God made me deaf because maybe God found my weakness so He decided to make me deaf to improve on my weakness area. That's my guess about "weakness area". God made me deaf - yes but I don't know what this purpose is for - maybe weakness area or ??.

I know it is not fair but God has reasons due to sins. We all are sinned. So, God wants us all to learn many ways related to feelings - what is happy, what is angry, what is jealous, what is love, what is patience, what is sad, etc.

Yes, I did witness God (Jesus) with my own eyes related to my deafness as to what I was very angry and was not sure if God was real and I thought God was like "Santa Claus" then boom there that I saw Jesus. It was full of speechless!!!!!!! Yes, God is there for sure! Jesus told me that God made me deaf but did not tell me why God made me deaf. Obviously, God wants me to figure it out on my own because He needs me to learn from something in the world with people and myself.

God made people deaf because maybe those deaf people are more sinners than hearing people with less sinners?????? I wonder?

By the way, God/Jesus are full of love - unbelievable!!!!!!!

:)

Buckrogers and momoftwo, let me share with you in the mixture of both of you. Hope I make it clear for you two. Buck, get angry with God will not make you getting better or get you anywhere. Remember, Job? Look the comparison between him and you,, he's been thru severe life challenged. He's been going thru teremendous emotional strained, struggles, painful experience and also been judgemental by others and even his wife make him curse God. But he was steadfast. All of us in some ways what we want instead of what we need. But, I don't know you personally, go to Him, don't expect everything comes out overnight. Learn to rely on Him. I myself going thru so much, my ex in laws torned my marriage apart and now, severely control my ex wife and my kids and ignore my family's feeling and cry and encouraged them to hate me, but my family refuse bec they love me dearly as I to them. During severely stress by in laws control and my wife wouldn't dare to stand up cause me lead astray. Does that mean I did it right? No, worse, what's the problem with me? I focus on problems than giving all the problems to God. I blame God, no. So, Buck, go to Him and don't hold bitter or self pity party, just Go to Him. Now, momoftwo, for being deaf doesn't mean we sin more than anyone. Remember, the blind man? Remember His disciples asked who sinned that cause him blind himself or his parents? He answered and said, neither, it is the purpose of God and for His glory to reveal. Even in the book of Law says, do not curse the deaf or mistreating them. Better be deaf to the world views than being deaf to God. True, momoftwo, God is love proof thru His Son Jesus. Smile
