Here's a happy computer video of what might happen if a big meteor hits earth.

isn't there really a big meteor headed towards earth already? I could google for links, but meh.. I feel lazy
 
wow i enjoyed watching this video. Japanese did good work hard at animations of death earth. We should prepare our future to face with unknown dangers. Hard to believe that it would be end of humanity we will face? We should build heaven in space. My eye were too wide. :popcorn:
 
Wow, that's scared but doubt would be happen.

I bet that Buckdodgers is scared and run to find Fred Phelps then both of them are hug before going die. :lol:

Wondering which part of continent will it hit first?

Between North Pole and Greece as I recognised some places such as Big Ben, London and Parthenon Columns, Athens, and finally at the Far East - Asia countries in your link.
 
I do not believe this will happen until after the "Rapture" and "Tribulation"...God will destroy this earth and will create a new earth for us who are in Heaven...:)

read the text... it hit the ocean below Japan. since it is japanese :D

Keep in mind folks, it is stimulated experiment. They just want to see what happened if hit with this size... although it says meteorite but it may be a small planet.

meteorite is not ice.. that's comet so different things. some meteorite can have heated core but such thing like that haven't had hit the earth yet.

so again it is all experiment.

in my first post I said don't bother with Biblical stuff.. if you took time to read the text.. it is just experiment!

I did read your post carefully...Biblical means "scriptural"...You didn't mention to say, "Do not discuss about God or religious beliefs"...but you said only biblical which it means Word of God - scriptures...

I understand it is just experiment...however, It is my two cents about my own opinions here...;)
 
i believe it will happen someday.. there's many close encouter(sp?) in past decades. and its scary dude :cool:

but this big? have to remember we have asteroid belt in our solar system.. hmm..

again keep in mind that video is only experiment. they just want to see what would happen if there is one that giant. that's all.

That's why we research all wild ideas :) for example the moon decide to go out of whack and start going toward earth. so that what would happen. *shrug* :)
 
That video was awesome!

It would be cool if that actually happened. It may sound like a horrible way to die, but it is certainly better than dying by someone else's hand. ;)
