Doesn't the Bush family have a relative that came from Central America illegally ? They ended up marrying into the family.

Maybe that's why our immigration laws are lax towards those from Mexico/Central America......

I have thought about that because I heard it on the news, probably, last year. But, he was born in New Haven, Connecticut. It is likely that his family moved in Texas to visit their relative in Mexico or Central America.

Yup, Tokyo metro is ridiculously overpopulated. The train there looks scary, everyone seems to be all squashed in there.

Tokyo is only a city, there are parts that are not that busy. I was there. I was told by my friend that if visit the smaller city/town or country area in Japan, it will be a lot different than what it is like in Tokyo.

Yes. I think that many Japanese people cannot afford to live in the country in Japan, perhaps, by the government's control. I was told by TV on PBS that it is a special lottery for some Japanese people that be allowed to go on a vacation in a specific place or a beach. I could not imagine how big Japan is. I never travel that country, but you could tell us more about it if you want to. I like one thing that they don't shake their hands, and they are somewhat smart to avoid the germs. Do Japanese women have the rights?

Sure no problem, I think the woman have the rights as well as the men in Japan, but when a woman became single mother, their life will be harder because of the budget and schelude. Interesting, some cities in Japan pay the parents to have children due to depopulation.

Also the Japanese people in Japan tend to take the education very serious, also the health as well, I think that's why they are very sensitive to be touch unless they are in relationship. Not only the touching part, but also the environment like keep things clean and under control.

Japan isn't that big, lol. It's roughly the size of California.

Yup Japan is small just like other countires, especially like Eurpoean countries with good education and ecomony.

I am making a reference to the first Bush Presidental Campaign in 1989 when Bush Sr. had his daughter in law address the Republican National Convention in Spanish to counteract Dukakis speaking Spanish at the DNC......

I've been searching the net and can't find anything that says she came to the States illegally. If you find something to the contrary, please let me know.

That is what I am trying to find out as well. We don't know if she came here legally or illegally.

With the way the economy is going, America has a big problem on its hands when it comes to immigration. Right now there is simply not enough jobs to go around for everyone, these illegals know that, yet they still come and find jobs. In most unskilled labor markets the minimum wage for non-citizens is still around 3-4 dollars per hour. Most of these companies are hiring this cheap labor to help cut costs, while the rest of us are left out in the cold.

If we can clamp down on the illegals coming in and the companies hiring illegal workers versus giving a citizen the job, then our economy can begin to turn around.

The parents are well aware of the consequences if they are caught here illegally, they know they will face deportation and their families split apart.

Its a problem that's been festering for quite some time and now its come to a head and somethings got to be done about it or our country is going to sink into an economic depression.
