James Gandolfini Dies

Any Sopranos fans? Gandolfini just passed away at 51 from a heart attack in Sicily where he was to attend a film festival. Sad news and what a good actor. He'll be missed.

I never watched the show as I did have the station . He just had a baby in Oct. that is sad he did so young.

I loves gangsters movies

Just read about this too. Only 51. Only 8 years older than I !!!!!

I never watched the program but that is too young to die. :(

51 years is really young, but he was a big man, but im not too surprised he had a heart attack ,all the bulk being tight and fatty (am i describing it ok?)

Maybe he had high cholesterol from Italian food. I will miss him anyway. RIP, James.

i remmyed a film he was in, as a gay hitman, in a 'road film' with Julia Roberts..ad Brad Pitt .that was an interesting role he played, good film too , like he made it better
Yeah, he was that good in the movie, The Mexican.

We had a real-life addicted nephew that we had to deal with; that's enough drama for me.

James and his teenager son went to Italy on both pleasure-business trip. He and his son had a good time at a restaurant, then suddenly, he got a massive heart attack and was on ambulance. He died upon arrival at a hospital. I feel bad for his son who witnessing his dad's demise. :(

His next destination was supposed to be in Sicily.

RIP James

yeah, it must be awful for his son to see this, hellva a blow. James was a great actor, can show intensively range of rage and emotions with that 'dangerous smile' that you'd never know is he smiling about, untill he gives out a dialogue, that is hard to do for many actors, its like it is the 'gift' of the facial profile to be able to do this. Another great actor, had that similar elusive smile feature, but in an 'opposite kind of way' with similar difficulty to 'find' -the late Michael Clarke Duncan, who was in "The Green Mile", passed away last year.
