Jalapeno Cheese Biscuits

" Jalapeno Cheese Biscuits "


I am sure you would like this because my brother love this biscuits he like for his dinner. It a bit hot but as long as you don't get a heart burn! " hee

Shopping list: Jalapeno, instant baking mix, cheddar cheese, milk, butter

Indgretients:

2 small jalapenos

2 cups instant baking mix

2/3 cup milk

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup melted butter divided


Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 450 degree, cut the jalapenos lengthwise into
halves: discard seeds and chop finely.

2. Combine baking mix, milk, cheddar cheese in a bowl, Mix it well. Add jalapenos and 1/4 cup of butter. Beat with the eletric mixer set at high speed for 30 seconds.

3. Drop dough by spoonfuls 2 inches apart onto the 2 ungreased cookie sheet

4. Bake until golden brown, about 10 to 15 mintues. Brush with remaining butter and serve.

I do put japlenos in my corn bread.. mmmm! But never thought of with biscuits!
 
Oh, my stomach is growling after reading this. *grrrr grrrr says tummy*

This is similar to my aunt's Mexican cornbread recipe. I used to love eating Mexican cornbread with sweet tea, some kind of sweet pickles she got from her garden (don't know what it is called) and pinto beans. Omg, now I'm homesick for my aunt's meals.

I'll try to dig it up and post it here to share with you all. :)
 
It almost reminds me of those garlic cheese biscuits they have at Red Lobster. :)

Those are the BEST, and I mean it...the BEST, biscuits in the entire world. I have been known to eat the whole basket of those things and get full before my meal even arrives.

The biscuits are the only reason I keep going back to Red Lobster. ;)

Aww I bet you miss your aunt home cook meal. Maybe take a visit on your vacations time for the summer to visit your aunts. I am sure your aunt love to spoil you heee :naughty::D
