I used to pick up just about any pencils that fell to floor when I was in high school. One of my best friends teased me on my pencil "collection".

Hummm, speaking of pencils. I have a pencil and no sharpener. Do they still sell sharpeners or has everyone moved to pens already?

I mean, what good is a pen if it cannot be sharpened??? Just put a cap on it and stick it in a drawer? Seems like a waste of a perfectly good pen. I say, give a pencil a good sharpening and you are golden! At least until the pencil goes dull then simply sharpen it again. Not only that, but a good pencil can flip over and use the eraser end. Mistakes are easily undone. You just cannot do that with a regular pen.
