Yea, same here but sometimes there is a limit. I am going to drop a friend off at the airport next week and then 4 more friends asked me if I could do the same. I dont mind but gas???
Should I ask them for gas money? Is that rude...Angel or anyone can give me advice cuz I am not sure what to do but F***cking gas is costing me an average of $70 to fill up.
I think people are looking to me cuz my house is like 5 mins from BWI.
It's not rude to request that they come up with some gas money. In fact, if they are asking you for a ride to the airport, they should have offered, rather than putting you in the position of asking. When you ask a friend to do a favor that takes up their time, and costs them money too, the polite thing to do is offer to help with the cost.

Your friend Mary didn't tell you before about her move plan until last week ? Are you suppose to stay with her in NYC for holiday that's what you both plan for long months? If yes, she let you down... I know how you feel when I were in your shoes.
I found one cheap $80 for one night without breakfast. WITHOUT BREAKFAST.. *ojemine*
I have done many favors for them and they have done many for me as well. Newark Airport is pretty close to me - about 20 min drive but I have to pay for tolls a few times (i think 3-4x total) and gas expense. I have driven for my friends there a few times. They are aware of expense but it's certainly lot cheaper than getting a tax. They repay favor by driving me to airport other time, bought me movie ticket or dinner, etc.
