Remember you need usb for tv tuner and it won't support flash. It is pretty useless.

Someday, someone will use iPad as knife to cut birthday cake.

On the other hand I LOVE the idea of the iPad. To me it's a BIG iPhone/iPod Touch and I dont mind buying one to complement my Windows PC and supplement my Safari browser.

Only strike against the iPad IMO is no built in webcam that's it. Otherwise its pretty awesome to me.
 
I saw it but I'm not interested in it. I am not really that kind of person that carries around a device like that. A laptop would be good enough for me for now.

You need to understand about Adobe Flash and internet's browse. Look at Wikipedia's information "Adobe Flash"

It's good to NOT have flash player on the iPad/ipod and iphone due to stupid advertising banners or whatever that uses flash. I think that's why Apple went that direction to make the web browsing a cleaner experience.

Apple are worrying about losing their iTunes sales if they allow flash on their iPhone that is why.

Flash is not only just for video/sound, Flash can do much more.

It can be coded for anything and it would allow software developer to offer their own applications to iPhone without using App Store in iTunes via Flash on their own website.

IMO They going to hurt thier iPad sales if they don't accept Flash anytime soon cuz folks is gonna want to be able to watch some Youtube video or maybe Deaf Video websites and all they will get is a nice pretty black box with "Require Flash 9 or higher. Please download and install latest Flash"

It has youtube player on the iPad...just like the iphone/ipod touch. I doubt it hurt sales on the ipod/iphone because of no flash player. Look how popular they are? Let's wait until summer time for the results. :) It won't be out until March for the wifi version and April for wifi/3g version.
 
iPad data plan is $30/mo unlimited. No word about extra SMS?

Should be $30 for iPhone instead of $50/mo under TAP. I don't need to add voice service. Why?

I like that ipad, but I am disappointed that ipad has some lack of features such as camera/webcam. I'd better wait for the 2nd generation of ipad or OTA upgrades/updates near the future...I feel it will happen.

I agree that monthly price of using iphone should be at $30 instead of $50. Believe it or not, I bought iphone for myself for one day, but sadly, I returned it back because due to my sore shoulder (damn heavy weight). :( I'd better wait for the 4th generation iphone under all carriers. Oh, well.
 
Don't forget iPhone include SMS text messaging with the plan.

iPad does not have that either since it only data.

I think 40 dollar would been right price like the 1st Gen iPhone for a 3G iPhone IMO.

Well, y'all complaining about what the iPad does not have.....if you add the features you want, then you might as well get a laptop, lol. Plus I don't think it is cool to pick up a 10 incher like the iPad to take a picture if it had a camera, lol. There are other benefits to an iPad such as in education.....

New products that were never released before usually are no frills....remember the first generation iPhone had no 3g and it didn't have everything what people need...so it got better in 2nd generation because of people's feedback which is better than just a group of beta testers. It will be better in 2nd generation iPad, I'm sure.
