iPad starts at $499

ONLY Wi-Fi: 16GB - $499, 32GB - $599, 64GB - $699

3G added to the device adds an extra $130

Wi-Fi model ships in 60 days

3G model ships in 90 days

AT&T Plans for iPad -Unlimited for $29.99/month or 250MB data plan for $14.99/mo


You can purchase hard keyboard for iPad but price not mentioned yet.

It does not mention about camera on iPad.

But wonder if can add a webcam if it got a usb port and a VRS software in near future hrmmm.

Probably can use AIM text relay on it via 3G or WIFI.

Also seem no multi-task feature either.

They will announce more specifications in soon.

Yup, I saw it and not interested.

I'm sticking with my beloved MacBook Pro.

No front facing webcam. $30 data plan. Not so bad. But I'm not interesting it. I think to buy Macbook or MacBook Pro.
 
It have closed caption support to watch movie.

I wish there is TV tuner hook with antenna. It would be awesome.
 
Sadly, I'm not really very excited about iPad. No flash support, no stand, no multitasking, no front facing camera. :noway: I'll wait till the next 6-12 months from now

Grrrrr!!!!! You stole my thread. I was plan to make a thread of New Ipad but you've taken it. Pffty! LoL
 
iPad does not have USB. Just special plug from iPad to PC or MAC with USB.

No way to use WebCam with USB connect to iPad.

One thing, I like iPad with built-in WiFi, color ebook, bigger size better than iPhone or iTouch, Watch TV with CC.
