There's no point to this post but I'm a weird person according to my family. I love reading interesting facts in the papers, and read papers daily online, offline and everywhere. I remember weird facts like places names of where we went when i was like 6 years old but I cannot remember stuf from last week. I like being like this because its who i am. Interesting facts just facinate me, im a quiet person, i dont really like talking to people much but it's my way, i prefer to chat through messenger rather than face to face.
 
I'm the same way. I find it fascinating that when I was little (under 3) we went to Hell. :giggle: I was thrilled to mention it to the preacher at church until my mother explained that it was a city in Michigan.

That's funny you mention that Deafteen because I am the same way. I can remember random facts and numbers like nobody's business, but I can't remember other things for the life of me.

I also prefer to chat on messenger. Especially since both parties are usually multitasking, there isn't the pressure of having to reply right away.

You are not "weird." You just are who you are, and that is wonderful.

i'm the same exact way.

i can remember facts and figures on a whim (especially when it comes to history and politics), but when it comes to remembering what i did 24 hours ago, forget it. :giggle:
 
I find it weird at times but its also cool!

I like reading the news and talkin to my mumabout them and she gets annoyed after a while hehe, and strange facts in the newspaper
 
Well, you can learn a lot from reading the news, even if you are reading strange facts. I just don't think you are weird... Then again, maybe it is because I also lenjoy reading the news, and learning strange facts, too? :)
 
It happens to a lot of us. Short-term memory is still in the process of being stored. Sometimes, it takes something to trigger a memory. After a while, it gets burned into your memory and you can remember it better as time goes on.

I sometimes remember old stuff better than new stuff. ;)
