NorCal - you're not the only one thats tossed a computer....

When my old desktop crashed out the last time I kicked the snot out of it. It was beyond old anyway - built in 2000 running WinME - yeah it was WAAAAY past due to go to the grave. That's when I got fed up and bought my laptop.

Hmm... that's a great idea!

I'll have to do that.

I'll find a website where people love looking at feet and just put my webcam on the floor and focus on my feet.

I browse AllDeaf and other sites... and still get paid. ;)

too bad your work won't let you get a mac.

My uncle works at a university as this computer tech, they had a 10 year old laptop that hasn't been updated in like forever. He told my family that it had no firewall, no anti-virus scan. and basiclly its like a old-machine. So he had to hack into the computer to make it work. His boss let him fyi. But then all the sudden the computer was overloading and it CRASHED. It has like 8 servers going on with a few different programs. Boy, he said that they'res till investigating about the laptop..
 
Tell your uncle to chuck the laptop out of its window and then get a new one!
 
"L" laptop is cracked down and isnt selling the best. Blah.

Panasonic Toughbook: 3,500, aye. Really tough and way better than Compaq's motto- "built to tough" (scoffs)

i researched on Acer and *gag* hell no. It sucked.

That computer has been with me for 3.5 years and it is now long gone.
