LOL, I like you P.F.H. Eh, I'm pretty certain one person probably has...seeing as how she has quit replying to my posts on a certain thread. That's ok...apparently I'm not the only one who feels less than warm and fuzzy towards her. :D
 
sometimes it is very serious on inappropriate off topic atittute member!
sometimes I am put ignore few member, if you suppose don't reading on posts because ignored reason otherwise!! that is why point!
 
I put someone on my ignore list because he was so determined to find fault in what anyone had to say that it was ridiculous. He would even contradict himself if a Deaf person agreed with him just to be deliberately disagreeable. I can't deal with people like that. I have no problems with differing views but I have a problem with lousy attitudes that prevent people from listening and considering what others have to say because their need to be "right" overrides everything else.

You can go to a person's profile page and hit the 'user's list' link underneath the name. It'll give you the add to ignore list option.

Yep. The very same reason I put someone on my ignore list. She is utterly obnoxious and rude as well. :aw:
 
I don't use the ignore button. I can filter the posts I don't want to read easily enough.

By choosing not to read threads by certain posters.

Everyone has the capability to choose what to read on here. Everyone can choose how to respond to situations they are presented with in life. None of that requires a button on a forum. :)
 
Mizwytch, the funny thing is that for some reason people like to make an announcement to everybody that they have such and such on ignore and proceed to use this -> :giggle: <- not only once but every so often in other threads as if its supposed to mean something. Seems like they're expecting some kind of validation in return for repeating it so much. :dunno:

If people want to put others on ignore, great. More power to them but I certainly question people on their need to remind others on who they have on ignore constantly. What do they want? A standing ovation? :bowdown:

BTW, not responding is not the same as having someone on the ignore list. I thought I'd just toss that one out for all to see.

Wish I had your ability to just skip over offending posters' posts but nope. I put them on ignore. Some people are better able at not letting stupid rude people get to them so much. I'm admittedly not one of them.
