Make sure you get other people's opinion on it and make sure they see it the same way you do.

I have a friend who got a tattoo with some letters and numbers. Unfortunately, it looked like something else from other people's point of view. So, he went to a different place and had them cover up his old tattoo with something different. :roll:

First, find a tattoo you want. Next, show people what they think of it. Don't tell them exactly what it is until you hear what they think it is. If too many people see it as something else, then it might be a good idea to pick something else... unless that's your intention.
