Maybe there is a good way to cool yourself off. Sneak into an apartment complex and use their pool. :iough:

 Yeah, I have 2 A/Cs and 3 large fans. It feels good to feel cool inside this house. No need to open the windows. :D
A/C in alaska?

i had my A/C on almost allday.. during nite its off.. cuz its cool outside at night :D

outside is HUMID.. thats' why i didn't have windows open

Yesterday's hot gave me headaches I had to repair the room. Light switch with big hole punch about 13 inches of circle in wall is fixed! I went to Home Depot and saw 5,000 BTU A/C at 80 dollars but doubt that one only pushes enough one room not entire my home.

i have 5,200 BTU window A/C and it gives chills in my kitchen, dinning room, living room... and its about 600 sq feet for all 3 rooms while A/C is in dining room between kitchen and living room...

helps a little bit in my bedroom and my son's bedroom.. but takes a long time to get chills... since the bedroom is about 50 feet from A/C

the room temp is 72... while outside right now is 89 :D

last time i had it on full blast.. the room temp is 70 while outside is 97.. it helps :D

Abrupt Change

after three days in a row of 99°F with harsh sunrays burning me up, today is a very gloomy day wtih clouds everywhere and it is 73°F...
20 degrees drop? wow.
That's San Diego for you-- the weather changes day to day.

 No, I am in Iowa until June 17th... will fly back to Alaska again. ;)

Cool ! I use A/Cs and fans for here in Iowa. But, in Alaska - there's always cooler outside in summer. The temperature's average is around 80's to 85's. Sometimes, 70's in degree. Juneau is famous for rain because, it is coastal. No need fans or A/Cs. :)

Nice heh... where i am is nearly winter... 39 F right now... nice sunny days, yet it chilly outside.
