HELLO,. I AM BACK FROM MY DISABILITY CAMP at UCONN!!!!!!! It was very awesome and guess what? I am the ONLY DEAF DELEGATE AND A LOT OF PEOPLE WAS VERY RESPECTFUL TO ME! from now until December, my disability group and I are going to do a project that will change all of non- disabled peoples' mind so the group is going to my high school to teach hearing people NOT TO BE AFRAID OF the disabled and deafness. I will continue to tell you more of my experiences tomorrow. :)

:hug: Welcome home RJR!!!! Missed you, and great to have you back with us here at AD!!!! That is so awesome you being the only deaf/disabled delegate there. I bet everyone else must have been so interested in your life story.

That is very commendable that you will be doing this project, as so many people do not know how the right approach to communicating with someone who is deaf as well as disabled, and you will be the perfect one to set these people on the right track.
