I Almost Died Last Night

Good to hear that you're OK, AquaBlue! :)

Thanks a billion webexplorer!! I will follow your direction. I hate my mask, hate it.

Please, tell me how to do the tongue exercises. That's what I don't know how to do.

Thanks again. Thumbs way up high for your info.

Thanks Log. Cool glasses. Your avatar is the face I see when I look in the mirror every morning. :)

Yeah but my doctor just the other week gave a complete bill of health- none diabetic indications according to him; and he's a top-notch medical doctor.

I do suffer from Bipolar and high anxiety. I do take over ten different meds to treat those illnesses. I am a disable individual with health issues but no diabetic ones. I'm very sure of that folks. Thanks heavens.

General medical practitioners aren't trained to deal with diabetes and related medical conditions. From what you described, it sounds quite a lot like hypoglycemia. I suggest that you ask to be referred to a diabetes specialist just to make sure everything is okay. Better to be safe than sorry.

Also, get a blood test, no matter what your doctor may think. They will even send you to a blood clinic specifically for people with diabetes because they do blood tests differently compared to a standard blood test.

Hypoglycemia is incredibly difficult to diagnose. So not every doctor will be able to find it.

Wow! I am glad you are ok. Take it easy!

I second banjo. I wasn't diagnosed with hypoglycemia until last March; and he said I probably had it all my life-- and recommended me to go on a high-complex carb (ie. rice, rye bread), high-protein diet with minimal fruits, sweets and other things that tend to spike the blood sugar. It explained a lot, considering my previous doctors just said I was lazy, that I had mental issues and so on.

I think someone should had called the ambulance and gone to ER. I am glad you're ok ,and your cat it a Hero!

You can find it on the Google easily by typing like this, "tongue exercises for sleep apnea". It has a list of links. Some information is okay.

Just move your tongue back and forth, move around, up and down for about three minute exercise. You can create your own idea for your tongue. It is alike a French kiss.

Once awhile, I use my exercise for both tongue and mouth movement, but not at the same time. (i.e. smile, sad, mad, happy - face expressions for my muscles. It is just my preference.)

wow, very glad u okay, AquaBlue!! Seems very scary!

love your kitty, he's adorable! has such a sweet face:)

my hubby has sleep apnea too-
