Hypocrisy in Six Flags' Deaf Awareness Day?

Alldeaf is for EVERYONE, EVERYONE and EVERYONE.

It is just forum, nothing is event.

Deaf Awareness Day at Six Flags is event for deaf/HoH people, regardless on sign language skills, even deaf people with CI go here too.

The problem I am focusing on is the lack of communication access for those deaf/hh people who do NOT know sign language where ASL interpreters are located in the park.

just wondering - were there deaf/hh non-signers complaining about it?

If you don't know about ASL then toobad.

ladies and gentlemen - hang on tight! the merry-go-around will begin in a second!

Yes, you did. You're not interested.

I don't say anything about link to your blog or other website.

You are make too much on just small issue so that's your problem.

It wasn't problem for us about this titles.

And that's the attitude is what make many people with hearing loss get turned off. Instead of that attitude, why not ask Six Flags to provide the needed communication access for those who don't know sign language and those who have very little experience? That way everybody feels welcomed and to boot they see a lot of people signing and they become more intrigued, interested and motive to learn sign language afterwards.

Communication access is not by far a "small issue." I'm surprised that you'd even go that far to even deny people with hearing loss their basic communication needs at such an event like Six Flags D/HH Awareness Day.

It isn't a big deal.

There is no CC at shows when people are in reality drama like dolphins show.

Deaf Awareness Day is just fine and ASL interpreters are just normal for shows. If you don't know about ASL so sorry, no choice but you can still go rides and have fun.

In otherwords, while deaf/hh people who do know sign language are able to enjoy ASL interpreters at Six Flags shows while deaf/hh people who do not know sign language are to watch the shows not knowing what was said? Is that what you're advocating?

You are wrong, the word say all.

If you don't like it then don't go to Six Flags.
