Huge problem with my roommate.

Hey Guys, Let's get back on topic since this thread is starting to veer off it's course. Understandably, there's some humor here and there which is great but let's not take it out of control to an extent. :)

Yeah, stay over at some friends place...basically hopping around. Of course, I will pay for food and maybe a few days worth of rent, I dunno yet. Will have to see what happens.

Yes, my parents live in California. I already contacted them about the situation I'm in. I am waiting to hear from them, though.

If I do move back to California, then I would take more pictures of the sequoia trees. :D
 
Ahh Seq hope ya can deal with your situation as best as ya can do for yourself... some have said ya should move back home.. it would be a good idea to save up more money somehow and then when ya are really ready to do that yourself then it wont be a problem....

As for roommates.. ugh yeah figures... that why if I do move, I aint gonna get a roommate as I have gone thru the crap with my 3rd brother and his wife (they were dating at the time and living together when I moved in for a year almost) so I dont care to get another roommate and I perfer being alone so I can freely do what I want and be smart about it .. that's all my plan is.. I hope.. ahh..

Seq.. I'm sure ya will bounce back in no time with something.. 2 jobs?? wow that gonna be something to juggle for sure...
 
Oh geez, that does suck..no fair if she dont pay her
share of the rent and utilities, time to boot her out, heh.
Sounds like she is taking advantage of you, thats not
right.
Im sorry you are having difficulties and all, i will pray
for you and maybe you should find a new roomate or
like the others say, move back home for a little while
till you save up enough money to pay off some of your
bills?

I have good news....my roommate and I got it resolved.....my parents are going to send me the money for what I owe them so they will be relieved and feel a little better. I will also beg my boss to get more work with Shared Journeys and get extra money to pay the rent in August, it's just for 1 month.

Can you move to a family member's home until you get out of debt?

The girlfriend need to butt out because it's between you and her guy since she's not paying or going to be there for August.

Really make a budget to help you make a goal to pay off your debt.

i would say DON'T get a consolidation loan. You end up paying back way more than you owe. Then it becomes a viscious cycle where you end up trying to borrow more money to pay back borrowed money. Things are tough for you right now, but they will get better. Are you working two part time jobs?

She still don't care about that....they knew that I have a lot of debt and have hard time keeping up with it, they act like there's no excuse. Oh well...

That is no excuse for her to save her money to pay her bills and her wedding. She has a reponsibility to you as a roommate and to guilt trip you is plain wrong.

Simple: don't get married. The cheapest way to get married is to go to the courthouse and get married by a judge. Who says weddings have to be an elaborate affairs? :roll:

BTW Sequioas, maybe its time for you to look for a new roommate or find your own apartment. At least you won't have to worry about this scenario again. I sent you a PM about an individual I know what may have an apartment available...:)
