How many of you as kids saw a hooded man in your room while sleeping?

When I was about 5, I woke up at 2am because I was thirsty and needed water.

But as soon as I opened my eyes, I saw a hooded man praying on my bed and I couldn't see the face, except scarlet red blazing eyes............I just froze and immediately closed my eyes.

I didn't know if I was going to live till morning (but I did) and I really could not open my eyes again, because it was so terrifying.

I've read that many kids about 5-7 seem to experience the same sort of thing.

So I thought I'd pose the question out there!................

(But yes, that was the only time).
 
Nope. My great-grandfather told me we saw who he believed to be the devil at a market in Madrid, though. He was 4-5.
 
What happened at the market? I'd really love to visit Spain one day!

(I once took a picture of a leprechaun too)!
I believe it was anyway!
 
I dont think I had seen that. I only have seen ghosts all of my life.. that was about it. But yeah.. I seen Red eyes before and it was evil. :ugh: Also I remember I saw 3 mummies at my mom's friend's house in the bathroom when I was a little girl.. it was only for 2 mintues then it was gone. I found out later that native americans was buried as mummies and the house was on the indian burial ground. :eek:
 
I was not a kid when I saw this hooded man 10 years ago in my bedroom at the night. He was wearing black hooded and had white beard. I got spooked by this and went back to sleep faster and peeked , he was gone. Of course saw him many more after that night.

I do not know if it is counted but when I was around 5, I used to chase this man in black. Almost every night I woke up and saw him standing over me, I tried to reach and touch him but he moved away from me. I got out of bed and tried to touch him but he kept moved away from me, finally I run after him and never catch up with him. He went thru the door outside and I gave up and went back to bed. Been do that off and on for three years till I went to live at deaf school. Never saw him again.

They are my guardian angels, always protect me which send by Jesus Christ.

That was JESUS CHRIST! The Bible says that Jesus has "fire" eyes...He was praying for you. He wanted you to see that He was and still is exists.

I saw Jesus stood next to me - at the right side corner...I didnt see his face but only from neck to down with white pure robe - anyway, while I was asleep...He bend down - whispered to my right ear with thunder soft voice - He said, "I love you" and I said, I love you too"...then I woke up...realized that I saw him in my dreams...

I've seen my guardian angel twice myself! age 5 and in 20s...
 
can you describe what he saw in Madrid and how he know its devil

Never had that experience!! Only when my baby died. So, one night i went to bed with my hubby, i felt one side of my body was very cold and the other side was warm. Someone said to me that my baby girl was with me that night to comfort me. I don't know if i believe that!! I know that i miss her alots!! :(
 
my fiance have plms with this as he always tell me he have seen this before.. i told him its just hallucinations.. i dont think its really real.. like when he laid in bed and saw a HUGE spider 10 inches? crawling that FAST on wall ?? ha ha yeah right!

i told him guess what? there are no such as a big spider 10 inches found in USA.. but most average is 6 inches which is regular tarantula common found in SOUTH usa.. the biggest spider found are in South America called Goliath Tarantulas and they can be bigger than a regular dinner plate? duh at starrygaze and his hallucinations! :rofl:
 
It was probably your imagination. Kids have wild imaginations when they're alone in the dark. Sometimes, things in your room are arranged to look like different things... sometimes people. Heh!
 
All I can say is, you guys have had some weird experiences.

I've never seen any of those things, and I've never heard of anyone else seeing those things until I read this thread. :dunno:

she might think i have hypnagogic because i had difficult sleep with very hot weather during bad drought without swamp cooler or A/C.
 
I lol when I saw the "give me a break link" given bu Levonian..I followed it and read the article. It actually gives a reason for the images we often see as children. I too saw stuff as a child and still to this day see stuff, during sleep periods. I'm sure though, as a beliver of magics and spirits...some are real...but some are just figments of our minds. The key is to tell the difference I suppose.
