Irresponsibility is due to Disillusion![]()
Not necessarily. And debt accumulation is not always due to irresponsibility.

I don't think she work hard.
yep. that's just one of it. let's hope this will make us a better person once we get back on track. I think we're learning how to pinch penny and tighten our belts... and make do.
A lesson valuable to all. Consumerism is rapant.

I recall reading an article about an interview with a Chinese worker who manufacture crap products for America that they wouldn't buy for themselves![]()

Surprise.... 60% of debts is due to medical, most people do not realize that.
Can you control catastrophic medical cost? Hell not!

Medical cost is now out of control!
We need to bring medical cost under control. Don't you realize that for every year since 1970's they (Medical costs) have increases by double digit, outpace the inflation which never touch doube digit since 70's That is scary!

Exactly, people like you usually thinks welfare is waste of time UNTIL it hits you like huge rock, you realize you need em but it's no longer there... scary!
People often thinks debts is due to excessive spending, which in reality only about 10% is due to excessive spending, the rest is realistic spending and they are stuck with it.
For example, I have a vehicle and I depend on that to get to work, right? And the motor blew up, and I had to spend $$$$ to get engine replaced, do I call it excessive spending? If so, how the hell can I go work? See where the problem is? Most people don't even realize until one of these events hits them.
I have been there and understood clearly,
I'm not surprised. I'm in that shoes. It's never easy to keep the medical bills down because I don't qualify for low income health insurance.
Oh odd, I'm qualified for medicaid because I'm disabled that under special annually income, that's different from hearing people who is low income and don't have any disability status.
Obama will going take care of it.
That's why I'm in a worried mood lately...if engine breaks down and I'm ending up with few thousands on engine replacement. I am trying to find money to get the timing belt/water pump replaced without depending some of money on the credit card.
Well, you got some lucks because your area offers public transportation and it seems good for backup if you need hold the car for replacement.
For area without public transportation is no fun, you wouldn't have no way to go to work but only option is call taxi, that cost alot.
