why you interested in asl and connecting with 'deaf'?

Hi Kristina! I'm in Georgia too- it is really hard to find any Deaf events in the area unless you are by Atlanta- I know they have some community open events you could attend to mingle and learn. Usually they happen at the mall (which one, I am not sure) one weekend a month. Also, if you are able to sign up, I know there is a Deaf yahoo group (e-peachy, I chink) that sends out notices of community events, get togethers, etc. Best of luck!
