I'm new to this site. I found it looking for Sidekick 2 to replace the one my Dad uses. His broke and he can't afford new one. Anyone have ideas where to post message to find one?

He is in Missouri State and I'm trying to get another Sidekick for T-Mobile to replace his and send to him...or maybe someone in Missouri has one he can pick up.

:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. I don't know what you are talking about mentioning about Sidekick 2 and T-Mobile. I am sure many other ADers would be interest in what you said about them. I have never have them. :hmm: Anyway, I hope you have fun reading and posting all the threads here. See you around. :wave:

Off-topic... Bebonang, you said that you never have had a pager. I have two pagers - Sidekick LX and Blackberry. It is worth to have one because I can contact anyone including my deaf/hearing friends, my PCP and my therapist. OK, let me tell you a story a bit. I remember my SUV broke down somewhere on the highway a few years ago. I had to call the AAA service thru i77. Within an hour later, the tow driver showed up and towed it to my Toyota co. It turned out that one of the Engine's belts broke off, according to the mechanic. Luckily, it didn't damage the whole Engine. So, it's worth for you to buy one. I am sure you will love it.

Hi, since you asked where you could purchase a used 'new' sidekick for your father, right? You can always check ebay.com as they do have sidekick phones there. I got my 3 sidekick 2's from there, so worthwhile my time. Just keep in mind - keep an eye out for those who try to rip you off. Just do a bit research to be sure that the seller's a safe bet to get the sidekick from.
