Hi I am curious what would happen if ....

That article does not relate at all to our discussion. I have a deep and abiding faith which leads me in my daily life. I simply choose not to hang my faith on simplistic notions of miraculous healings. I don't find any comfort in worshiping a god that would abandon innocents and heal only a select few. I prefer to put my faith in a God inseparably intertwined in the natural processes we witness all around us. It would be foolish for me to follow ideals that fly in the face of observable reality.

I think you are jumping to conclusions here...

I believe God works in everybody's life wheter they know it or not. I have a deep and abiding faith too. I do not place my faith on healing itself alone. I place my faith in Jesus Christ that he died for our sins through the Calvary of Jesus Christ.

Healing is a process which will work itself out between God and that person then God will grant that person healing through the Lord Jesus Christ then the person gives eternal glory and everlasting thanks-giving to God.

I personally don't believe God would be that petty.

??? :ugh: ??? There is nothing too small or too big for God to handle, man .... God created the world then made Adam and Eve.

Hi MorriganTait, I think this animated poster says it all. :) :thumb:

Heath,

You are really confusing MorriganTait and other members here. Becareful how you respond to their posts, because You missed out Morrigan's question a few times. Morrigan wanted to know what make you so special that you could get heal that others are not that special enough to get heal.

"In the Gospels", we read of Jesus Christ healing many persons. Those who came to him were healed by His grace and power. If you believe in Jesus Christ, pray daily, accept him in your heart. Healing are only on God's terms not on our terms. You have to realize that praying for God's healing does not mean that God is obligated to heal you. We need to pray to ask God to forgive our committed sins, We have to forgive others. You have to remember not to seek to God only because you want to heal your hearing, You have to have faith, You have to believe and You have to love Jesus Christ. To know God, you got to understand the bible, to understand the bible you have to learn about Jesus, to learn about Jesus you've got to read the Gospels. ;)

MorriganTait, yes I thought the same as you.

All what I beleive is faith and strength myself is support my family and anything what I can. It's God and Jesus who give me strength to cope anything.

God and Jesus did not there for us like what they did to people before Jesus died aged 33. I thank them to give us strength to acheive our life, that's all...

I lost my faith to bible after learn that we have different authors who wrote different bibles.. It make me realize it's authors who wrote their own opinions after translate striptures. I choose to not follow what Bible says but Psychology/physical. It's Psychological/physical who helps to improve people's mind and soul.

So, Heath, when will you be healed? Next week? Two months from now? Next year? 10 years? Right before you die?

Telling us you'll be healed "some day" costs you a lot. You will never be healed, but you'll constantly look forward to the miraculous day that you think will come. You'll constantly be disappointed because each day you'll never be healed, but then you'll think, "Well, God has a plan for me, he'll heal me tomorrow." Until, when you die, you realize, "God damn, God did nothing for my hearing!"

Don't hold your breath on the hearing thing. Move on and accept your deafness.

Hi, I am curious what would happen if I got healed of Deafness and that God approved the miracle by the Lord Jesus Christ's praying hands reach out to heal me? I will be sure to post my hometown newspapers online so you can read for yourselves if I ever got healed of Deafness.....I will be more than happy to help you know more about Jesus Christ , God and The KJV Holy Bible. I am still in a very intense and spiritual struggle.

I am curious what would you guys have to say if I ever got healed of Deafness by My Lord Jesus Christ and Personal Savior through God approving the miracle.

i would say....awesome, now leave me alone so i can pray for a 1940 Ford truck

First of all, i have to say that i agree with MorriganTrait, everything she says. i dont believe god is petty either. and not everyone will read the bible in their lifetime. what about the Tribes in south america?

God will heal me eventually at the right time , in the right place for the right reason. I have faith.

and if god does not answer ur prayers with the gift of hearing, will u lose faith in god? and stop believing in him?

Walk not by sight, but by faith... Trust God and Jesus Christ without needing to see evidence because in your heart it reveals the truth.

Many people have posted rather interesting comments. Here is my perspective... God wants us to accept whatever He gave us in order for us to develop better human beings and spiritual beings----Trust, Love, Faith, Compassion, Share, Friendship, and so forth.... God and Jesus Christ have the abilities to heal us at any time but I think it occurs rarely--because of whatever reasons God has, most of us would endure our life as deaf persons for purposes that God has established. Yet, if each one of us accepts Jesus Christ and truly believe in God, in His kingdom we probably will be healed just as everybody else.

I don't really care if God 'healed you of deafness' because it would never happen. God doesn't do the wicked any favors.

Besides... God made you deaf, as he makes many people deaf. He doesn't make people deaf in order for them to complain about how it's so limiting and whatever.

I hope Heath won't mind if I jump in.

AJ, I've been in the ministry for 18 years, retired a few years ago. As for the people who have never, ever heard the name of Jesus, God, in His providence, will help them hear about Him. Scripture is very clear in the New Testament in saying that all of us are without excuse. When each of us dies, we will stand before God Himself and give an account of our lives. Those people that know Christ as their Saviour will stay in Heaven, those that have rejected, will only see the Great White Throne Judgment, as outlined in the Book of Revelation. Again, each person to ever live outside of the womb is without excuse.

Now, as for the healing. If Heath is not physically healed here on earth, when he dies and stands before God, He (God) will ask him (Heath) for his hearing aids. Heath is no longer deaf. I will no longer be hoh, neither will Immortal Rose, CyberRed or Reba. If I missed any other Christians, please don't take it personal, as I don't know who you are. Healing, AJ, is for Christians only. God is not a selfish God as others think...if you have money, do you give everything you have to other people? If not, then you are a selfish person. You know why I say that? God gave everything He had...His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on a cruel Roman cross for your sins (wrongs) and mine. He paid a cost He didn't owe because I owed a price I could never pay. That, my friend, is spelled GRACE: God's Riches At Christ's Expense.

Teresh,

You're right to a point: Heath is wicked. So am I. So are the people I mentioned above. The only difference now is that Jesus Christ has set us apart through salvation. None of us deserve it. Just because I and Heath and the others are Christians does not mean that we are perfect, that we sit around and sing "Kum By Yah" or anything worthy of a good deed. As for making people deaf, yes, God created you, deaf, for a purpose. It's your responsibility to ask Him and to seek Him as to the reasons and to work with Him in it.

My drunk Dad clobbered me in the head so many times he damaged my ear drum and cochlea. Did God do that?

In the spiritual realm, Satan did that.

Satan is the Destroyer. Your father is still responsible for his actions. He can't blame it on the devil but yeah in the spiritual realm alots of it has to do with satan.

God is the Healer.
