hey everyone, thanks for the replies! My name's natalie, i'm 23 from manchester in the uk. I lost my hearing about 6 months ago after 2 surgeries for acoustic neuromas so I don't really know many deaf people. I'm trying to learn sign language man its hard. deaflissa are youu from manchester? great forum you've all got. where is everybody else from? my mum is buying a home for vacations/holidays in orlando this summer, that should be fun!anyone from there?

Sorry to hear about your hearing loss. There is a late deafened thread on here that you might wanna look at!
