Um, I don't think so. I live in a small town with a small Deaf community. I tried to talk to one of the girls I went to high school with, but pretty sure she thinks I'm a dumb hearie. But I've heard that Gallaudet offers online ASL classes, so I'm going to try that. The doctor said that he didn't have the equipment there to figure out exactly what was wrong and that I needed to go to a specialist. We haven't been able to get an appointment with an ent or audiologist yet. He said that my eustatian(spelled wrong) tubes were puckered and that it was a problem... This was a minor emergency clinic, so equipment is limited. He just had that light thingy. I've been going there for years and he said that with the amount of ear infections and concussions I've had he doesn't think this is something that's gonna clear up. I went in because I had a massive headache and couldn't hear anything for like 30 minutes. It hurt really badly and deep into my ears... Both of them. And it hasn't been much better since. That was about a month ago. My hearing is muffled and my ears feel like I need to pop them but can't. I am trying to schedule an appointment with an ear nose and throat dr. but I've been trying to just finish high school. Now I'm out, I have more time. So, yeah. I will keep y'all posted. Y'all will know something as soon as I do. I guess it could be nothing, but I really doubt that. Like I said, I'm not absolutely terrified anymore; I'll adjust. It's not the worst thing that could happen.
