Pac-Man....there's nothing wrong with specific "Christian" camps. I went to a Christian camp of sorts as a teen (a YMCA camp) and loved it.

I don't care. Those sorts of religions are way overkill. I also don't like religions that are almost cult-like. The church I went to, it almost felt like a cult, with all their rules and stuff. Ugh. Now I am agnostic, and I am much happier that way.

Well... Trust me, i was attacked, mocked, and teased badly by non-Christians because of my belief. Besides, many many non-Christians believe in that Bible, Jesus, God, Creationism, and Christianity are deserve to be bashed and mocked...


Be honest with you, I'm VERY tired of being critized all the time by them in any where else (in real life, internets, priatve clubs, etc etc)... Every day. Every hour. Every minute... EDIT: oh, yeah. They easily assmued me everything which I am not what they think of...


I wonder... WHY? :sighs:

This is extreme. I grew up knowing the Bible. I know what it says. I also know that each and every person can interpret it differently. I also believe that they SHOULD. We shouldn't believe something just because we're told to. Each person has the right to decide for themselves what it is they believe in or don't believe in.


Simple as that.

Last I checked BRR isn't a particular religion or organization that forms the basis of a religion (like the Vatican)
As a matter of fact, if I recall correctly Reba has said that Baptists aren't a particular religion/universal belief. Each church may identify as Baptist, but that can translate into a million different beliefs from "complete seperatist, gotta have everything in their lives specificaly "Christian"/stereotypical fundie/Bible Belter to churches that are so libral that they allow GLB people to be active faithful members of a congregation!

Seriously, ADers should post some positive comments on his thread instead of bringing his thread down as if he's nothing else. Just thoughts...

I have a great time at BRR anyways. I met a new friends from other states. They are still on my friends lists at facebook. :)
 
Point is some of you are hijacking the original poster's sentiments.

I'm happy to be claim as no religion, however I can be atheist.

I means if contain too extreme or very religious then I wouldn't want go, even I'm too old to go camp and not interested now.
