Help Finding A Church

i know a lot of u guys dont like my religion, but i would really appreciate it if u could help me find a Gnostic Church within my area.

anywhere in the Jacksonville, Florida area or the St. Augustine, Florida area.

ive been looking on the net but cant really find anything...if u guys could find me a church to go to....i would be forever grateful, u have no idea how much it would mean to me.

the ONLY gnostic church i know if is in California, way too far.

Gnostic churches are pretty hard to find... But you should try a Unitarian Universalist church. They're not gnostic, but they're secular, so you get to worship together without anyone's beliefs being infringed upon
 
This is all I can find for you. Hope this helps. I know it is not in the area of Jacksonville or St. Augustine Florida but cant hurt to try it. Good luck. :)

Sorry, can't help you. I noted in another post you have never been to chuch before...what makes you think that a gnostic church will be any different if you don't know anything about church?

i dont want to get into a fight...i really dont, im worn out from the religious war that raves in AD...


the Gnostic religion and the Christian religion is sort of different.

gnostics dont preach about fearing the devil, because we believe there is no devil

christians preach about staying away from the devil because they believe there is a devil.....


thats just one difference. PLEASE im not saying either religion is right, im not saying that mine is right, im not saying that the christian religion is right. im just saying they are beliefs. do not start a religious war in my thread. im tired of them.


but do know, Gnostic believers are christians, just different a bit. because we do believe in god and jesus whole heartedly.

I haven't been in a church for a long time now, and yet if I want to go to a church then that up to me, and if AJ wants to join a church that's up to him also.....


Why do we have to know something before attending a church?.... :confused:

Hon, just turn your cheek, you do whatever you believe in and attend any church that makes you feel is right, no one should tell you otherwise, I know how you feel, that's the reason why I stayed away from religious threads....Too many pushy people :-/

yeah i have been trying to stay away from the religious threads too but they are everywhere. and every thread somehow gets turned into a religious arguement.


i mean the thread could be about ketchup and somehow we would be fighting about jesus and god and what is right or wrong.



and i dont understand why....if my belief makes me happy, and makes me feel right with god, and im not hurting anyone or anything....why do people have a problem with it, just because its not something they believe?

no, im not saying that u are. im just saying i know that it could become a war in here, because there are people who come in and take over anything that isnt what they believe. i know people can come in here, and may come in here and just start something.
