Episode 410

Christina and Corey are shocked to have Jen back on the team. They were happy to be rid of her. On the men’s team, Petrozza and Bobby can’t figure out how Matt has managed to stay in Hell’s Kitchen.

A phone call wakes the chefs up early. After getting ready, they are blindfolded and shuttled to a mystery location. When the blindfolds come off, the chefs are standing on the roof of Chef Ramsay’s new Los Angeles restaurant. Ramsay gives the teams new, black trimmed jackets. They are all on one team now. Corey doesn’t want to deal with Matt and Jen at the same time. Finally, Chef Ramsay gives them a glimpse at the $250,000 cash prize.

The chefs return to Hell’s Kitchen for their first individual challenge. Each chef will be given a main ingredient and they are asked to put their own personalized spin on that ingredient. Matt is given veal, Christina is given sea bass, Bobby is given duck, Jen is given beef, Petrozza gets chicken, and Corey gets lobster. The chefs have 45 minutes to create something delicious and innovative. The chefs spring to action.

Matt’s order passes. Chef loves Christina’s dish and Petrozza’s dish earns a “well done.” Corey uses too little lobster for Ramsay’s liking. Jen is nervous about Chef’s comments, but she manages to pull it off. Bobby’s duck comes up too tough.

Chef has Jen’s dish and Christina’s dish go head-to-head. Ramsay chooses Jen’s dish, which will end up on Chef Ramsay’s menu. Jen breaks into tears. She is going to Vegas to meet last year’s Hell’s Kitchen winner, Rock. Jen gets to bring another chef. Surprisingly, she chooses Corey. The rest of the team is stuck unloading delivery trucks.

Matt is furious and his attitude is causing friction between him and Christina.

Chef Ramsay rounds up the new team. He warns them that they are now doing double work because they are cooking for the entire dinning room. He assigns the stations and puts Matt and Christina on the meat station.

After the doors open, Matt quickly sets fire to a pan. Chef says he is watching Matt closely tonight. Petrozza sends up the first dish, but his sloppy ways don’t pass Ramsay’s standards. The team is doing well with appetizers and it’s time for main dishes.

Chef yells out tickets to Matt, but Matt isn’t remembering the order. Corey is furious because Matt isn’t communicating. Matt tells Corey they need to just get along through the service.

Christina tries to shortcut the cooking, and throws rib-eye in with chicken. Bobby tries the same by mixing salmon and scallops. Chef busts them both and can’t believe what he’s seeing.

Customers start returning dishes, the meat dishes are going out raw.

Corey burns her hand on a hot pan but tries to stick with her station. She starts to crack under the pressure. Chef tries to send her to the medic, but she keeps telling him no. Corey finally leaves, and Ramsay puts Jen on Corey’s station.

Outside in the dining room, customers are getting tired of waiting.

Corey returns, but Christina and Matt are falling apart in the meat station. The entire team is falling apart, but Bobby is keeping his cool. Matt keeps falling into Ramsay’s line of fire, and Matt clearly can’t keep up. He’s shutting down, claiming he has a migraine. Ramsay finally drags Matt out of the kitchen and forces him to go upstairs.

Two and half hours into service and the kitchen is at a standstill. No food is going out. Shortly after, Jen burns a large pot of rice, and Chef throws her out. Then Ramsay has had enough and throws them all out of the kitchen.

After service, Chef Ramsay is stunned at how awful the final six performed. He sends them upstairs to decide which two chefs are going home. Matt asks for a moment alone with Ramsay. Chef tells Matt that he needs to step up and stop floundering.

The team decides that Matt will be going to elimination, and Matt is furious. After Matt storms out, the team talks over the second option.

That night, the teams line up. Petrozza says Matt is first up because his attitude is sinking the team. Corey tells Chef Ramsay that Christina is up because she shared the meat station disaster with Matt. Ramsay calls down Matt, Christina and Corey. Corey defends that she’s not a quitter. Matt argues he was off because he had a migraine. And Christina argues that she doesn’t give up. Chef looks over the three, and then selects Matt. The other chefs can barely contain their happiness.

Chef Ramsay tells the team as they leave that they need to come together as a team, or they will all fail.

Recap 6-10-08

Episode 411

The remaining chefs file out of the dining room after elimination. The group is worried about Jen’s attitude. The chefs are all on the same page when it comes to getting Jen out of Hell’s Kitchen.

The next morning, Chef Ramsay shows them how to prepare lobster spaghetti. They watch intently, knowing there may be a test on it. Ramsay tells them that they will host a cooking school, and each chef will have one student. The student that prepares the best dish will win the challenge for their chef-teacher. Ramsay invites the students in. They are several glamorous housewives. Petrozza blushes. Ramsay tells the chefs they have 45 minutes to teach their students how to recreate the lobster spaghetti.

The chefs cannot help cook. The housewives do their best, and some chefs just watch in horror. Corey thinks her student is tough and her chances are good. Jen gets caught a few times helping her student.

The chefs and their students line up before Ramsay in the dining room. Chef Ramsay moves down the line, tasting each student’s dish. Christina and Corey’s students receive good reviews, and Jen’s student fails. Chef awards the win to Christina. The losers will have to scrub Hell’s Kitchen. Christina will get a special lunch with Chef Ramsay.

Christina cooks alongside two of Los Angeles’ most famous chefs: Mark Peel from Campanile and Benjamin Ford from Ford’s Filling Station. Jen uses the guise of cleaning the kitchen to eavesdrop on Christina’s conversations.

During prep that night, Christina’s new confidence begins to get on everyone’s nerves. Chef Ramsay enters and tells them that there will be a table tonight with twelve settings. Every chef must give it their all tonight.

Jean-Phillipe delivers the first orders of the night. Christina brings one spaghetti to the window, but Ramsay needed two. She recovers and takes control of the station. Appetizers are flying out of the kitchen. Bobby however, is flailing in the entrée station.

Jen lands in Chef’s crosshairs. Jean-Phillipe hears about Jen’s errors and tells the wait staff to push the meat. Maybe the meat wasn’t a good choice either as Bobby continues to screw up his station.

Chef Ramsay shouts at Jen about delivering an entrée too early, and Jen being Jen, fights back. She tries not to, but can’t help herself. Chef turns all his focus on her.

The kitchen is finally getting their act together and working. However, the party at the twelve-top has arrived. The order comes up and Chef shifts the help in the kitchen. Corey and Christina pair up in order to impress Ramsay. Christina and Corey get the appetizers out with no problem. Then Christina and Corey move to desserts.

Petrozza, Bobby and Jen start the main dishes for the twelve-top. Jen delivers a raw fish, and Ramsay sends it back. The entrée group begins to fail, but with some solid communication, they get the train back on track. The desserts get delivered and the team is able to finish dinner service.

After dinner, the chefs line up in the kitchen. Ramsay again complains that the team is not working together. He tells the group that Christina was tonight’s “best of the worst,” and it’s her call to pick two people for elimination.

Back in the dorms, Christina begins to talk to the other chefs and tries to select her two. They all agree that Jen is not a team player.

The chefs return to the dining room for elimination. Christina nominates Jen because of her poor attitude, and Bobby based on his inconsistent performance during that night’s service. Jen argues that she will keep giving 100%, but Chef doesn’t believe she will. Bobby defends that he was indeed terrible during service, and Chef agrees. Yet Bobby knows he kept his cool. Ramsay turns it back on Christina, who says Jen should go.

Chef Ramsay eliminates Bobby. Bobby hangs up his jacket and goes home.

Chef tells the remaining four that there are no favorites among them, and they all need to continue to step up their game in the kitchen.

Episode 412

The last four chefs retreat to the dorms after elimination. Christina is not happy that Jen’s still a contender. Jen wonders whether she should have tried harder to make friends. She tells Christina that she wasn’t offended by what was said at elimination. “We need to get rid of Jen,” Corey laments in secret to Christina and Petrozza.

The next day, Chef announces that they are going to face “the mother of all challenges.” Their 80 customers for lunch will determine who wins. They have one hour to prepare whatever they want. Everyone seems to be calmly working, but Corey is unusually panicked.

Jen describes Petrozza’s Monte Cristo sandwich as “a heart attack dipped in a stroke with a side of cardiac arrest.” Corey can barely get her food on the table in time. Jean-Phillipe opens the door and 80 pregnant women walk in. Corey has to go back and prepare more when she runs out. She strands some very hungry diners. Christina steps in and offers up her dishes to those who are waiting.

Petrozza wins some of the moms-to-be over by telling them he’s a dad. Chef goes into the kitchen to berate Corey, who’s still chopping. The patrons pick their favorites. Chef announces that Corey is in fourth place and Jen is in third. Although the voting was within two votes, the winner is Christina.

For her prize, Christina gets to go shopping with Chef Ramsay in Beverly Hills. She runs off excitedly to get changed. The losers have to clean the dining room and polish the silverware. Corey is massively jealous. She thinks Christina has no style. The owner of the boutique and Chef Ramsay help Christina choose outfits to buy. Returning to the restaurant, Christina shows off her new clothes to her competitors. The other girls are boiling mad.

Petrozza, Jen and Corey start prepping for dinner. Christina comes down from the dorm and repeatedly asks what she can do to help. No one answers.

The doors to Hell’s Kitchen open for dinner. Jen gets down to business, calling out her times to the window. Chef commends Corey on her scallops and deems Jen’s risotto “stunning.” Their appetizers continue to fly out of the kitchen, until Jen’s dish suddenly becomes “mush.” Chef yells that her spoon is crushing the rice and that she’s not paying attention. She starts to fall apart, but recovers to deliver a dish to his liking.

Christina gives Chef Ramsay her pot and he burns his hand on the handle. He chews her out for not warning him. However, she does it again and he is injured. “Wake up!” he screams.

Corey asks Jen to cook some eggs for her, but Jen refuses. Christina helps out instead. Jen stands there stirring one pan while the other two girls run around frantically. Yet when Chef asks, Jen gladly offers to cook the eggs.

Corey tries to get out her fish, but it is taking longer than expected. She sends it out even though she knows it is undercooked. Chef doesn’t notice, but the customers do and send it back. Corey has to start over. Petrozza can only laugh.

Chef notes that Petrozza’s section is a complete mess. At least he’s getting his meat dishes out properly. An hour and a half into service and they serve their last desserts. The chefs make record time completing the service.

Chef Ramsay surprisingly gives them all high fives for an extraordinary service. He commends them for overcoming some sticky situations like a team. Chef asks them to come to a consensus about which two should be put up for elimination.

They decide to each anonymously write down two names on slips of paper and count up the tallies. As she’s counting the ballots, Corey realizes that someone has written down Christina’s name twice. She knows it is Jen, but Jen feigns innocence. Jen thinks everyone is threatened by her. The other three don’t know how to bring Jen down. They try to figure out who the second person should be to stand up with Jen at the chopping block so that they can get rid of her.

Later, they march down to the dining room. Chef thanks them for a good night’s service, but he has to send someone home. Christina tells him that their first pick is Jen because she lacks teamwork. The other nominee is, shockingly, Corey.

Corey pleads that she is a valuable asset to the team and has always bounced back. Jen says that her passion in the kitchen is clear. Corey claims she is more honest than Jen and more committed to the team. Chef Ramsay ultimately chooses Jen to go home, and encourages her to keep going in her career. She was not consistent in her attitude.

The other three are so relieved, not only because they got to stay but because Jen is gone.

Last night.. I am so glad that he rid of that nasty lady~!

I can't say that I'm surprised with the conclusion of Hell's Kitchen Season 4. I shall be watching the press to see what might happen.

Recap (June 24)

Episode 413

Remaining chefs Petrozza, Christina and Corey know that they're lucky to still be there. Yet they are thrilled that Jen is gone.

The next morning, the three are nervous for what lies ahead. Chef Ramsay tells them he would love to cook for them personally, but first he has some special guests. He introduces Corey's mother and boyfriend, Christina's mother and father, and Petrozza's father and girlfriend. They are so happy to see the special guests. Jean-Phillipe takes them to their tables and serves up a Gordon Ramsay signature dish. But what the chefs don't know yet is that their challenge will be to recreate that dish. While Petrozza and Corey only have eyes for their family, Christina knows there's something else going on. She focuses on the ingredients in the meal.

The chefs see their guests off, and Ramsay reveals the challenge. Petrozza and Corey are nervous, but Christina is confident. They have 45 minutes. If recreating the dish based on sight, smell and taste weren't hard enough, Hell's Kitchen has been overstocked with a massive variety of meats.

The chefs find the same vegetables, but Christina is still looking for white beans to make a puree. Corey believes it may be a potato puree. Petrozza isn't even making a puree. They manage to recreate a sauce, and Corey is sure that she found the proper wine for it.

The three list their ingredients for Chef Ramsay. Christina's sauce is perfect but she used the wrong meat. Petrozza and Christina have small errors in their ingredients, but Christina takes the win. Chef Ramsay tells Petrozza that if he had made any kind of puree, then he would have won it.

Corey and Petrozza's punishment will be to clean up the bar and restock the ice that they will be hand crushing. Christina and her parents get to accompany Chef Ramsay for a three course meal and a Los Angeles sight-seeing tour.

Later that night, the team gets together and prepares for dinner. Ramsay rounds up the chefs. He tells them that tonight, each of them will take turns running the service to prove if they can lead a kitchen. He offers up some advice for each. Petrozza needs to step up and not be the quiet guy he usually is. Christina is told that her delivery is too much like a cheerleader. She should work on her shouting skills. Corey is a little weak in delivery. Chef Ramsay wants her to find some backbone and get fired up.

Dinner service begins, and Chef Ramsay leads the kitchen to get the night started. The appetizers are going well. The sous chefs will be helping out in the kitchen, but the chefs don't know that they will purposely be trying to sabotage the night's service.

Petrozza is first up at the window and he calls out orders. Sous Chef Scott delivers a risotto without peas and it slips passed Petrozza's radar. Chef Ramsay tells Petrozza what's missing and orders him to send it back. Christina brings the kitchen to a halt on Petrozza's watch, and she begins to fail. Chef quickly takes aim at her. Ramsay commends Petrozza and puts him back on the line.

Next up is Corey. Chef advises her to maintain control. Corey has difficulty reading off the first ticket and an order goes missing. Corey quickly takes control and makes sure that the team keeps talking. But Sous Chef Scott pulls another fast one and tries to send up the wrong sauce with the Beef Wellington. Corey pours the sauce on the beef. When she realizes that it's wrong, it is too late.

Christina is called up, and Ramsay encourages her to order the chefs instead of them ordering her. Christina does such a good job managing the kitchen that even Sous Chef Scott is getting fed up. Sous Chef Gloria brings mashed potatoes with the wrong seasoning to the window. Christina catches the error and sends it back.

Chef Ramsay takes over for Christina, and the entire team wraps up desserts. The chefs successfully wrap up their last dinner service together.

After the restaurant closes, Chef Ramsay tells them that he has no idea who to select for elimination. He summarizes the service for each one. Corey was great on the station but terrible at the pass. Christina was sloppy in the kitchen but stellar at the window. Petrozza was good in the kitchen, but he was weak at the pass. Ramsay sends them upstairs to figure out who will be up for elimination.

The three return to the Hell's Kitchen dining room. Chef admits that he likes all three of the remaining contenders and he is proud to have them there. Still, someone has to go home. Corey nominates Christina. Christina nominates Corey. Petrozza nominates Christina.

Chef Ramsay first congratulates Petrozza, who will be heading into the finale of Hell's Kitchen. Chef asks Christina why she should proceed. She argues that while she's not a veteran, she is a fast learner. Corey defends that she should move on because she doesn't give up. Chef makes the tough decision to send Corey home. Christina will be heading to the finals with Petrozza. Chef Ramsay tells Corey that she should be proud and should not give up her dream.

Chef Ramsay tells the two remaining contestants that this is where Hell's Kitchen will be truly exciting. He announces that there will be one last challenge. Suddenly, two massive banners drop from the ceiling displaying the Hell's Kitchen logo.

Recap (July 1)

Episode 414

It's time for the final challenge. The dining room will be split between Petrozza and Christina. Each chef will create their own dream restaurant, and the two restaurants will compete head-to-head. They need to start thinking about their menu. This is their chance to show Chef Ramsay how good they really are.

Back upstairs, Christina and Petrozza get to work concocting menus. Christina stays up late to plow through, but Petrozza is distracted and hasn't made much headway on his.

The next morning Christina tells Petrozza she thinks she's finished, but Petrozza is still struggling.

The two head to the dining room and look over the open space that will become their restaurants. To help them out, Hell's Kitchen designer John Janavs will guide them. John tells Petrozza he believes the design should reflect the menu. Petrozza, however, doesn't yet have a menu to design around. Christina knows exactly what she wants. Petrozza seems to be hung up on flowers.

Jean-Phillipe then takes a turn helping Christina and Petrozza selecting the uniforms for their wait staff. What's strange is that everything Christina hates, Petrozza seems to love.

In the kitchen, Petrozza works with Sous Chef Scott and Christina works with Sous Chef Gloria to lock down their menus.

The two are summoned to Ramsay's office. Chef says that he is concerned. He wonders if he has chosen the right finalists. Yet it's a joke, and Ramsay bursts out, "I'm sure I do!" Chef Ramsay tells them, for inspiration, they need to pack their bags. They are off to New York City to eat at one of Chef's own restaurants.

While the chefs head to New York on a private jet, construction starts on their restaurants inside Hell's Kitchen.

On the jet, Ramsay jokes about Petrozza's signature dish, "Hen in a Pumpkin." Chef also calls him the messiest chef to ever cook in Hell's Kitchen. Christina smiles when Ramsay says that her nine challenge victories is the best among all Hell's Kitchen contestants.

From Times Square, the limo takes them to the kitchen of the Gordon Ramsay at The London Hotel. They stand back and watch how things are run inside the kitchen. Ramsay hands the two chefs new chef jackets and offers up the final challenge. Cook their signature dish right now inside the London kitchen.

Petrozza prepares filet mignon with caramelized onion risotto in a red wine aged balsamic demi-glace. Christina is grilling dry-aged New York strip steak with herbed compound butter and sweet corn succotash and roasted fingerling potatoes. She is very confident in her dish.

The judges for the challenge will be five executive chefs from Ramsay's restaurants around the world. The first chef up is Mark Sargeant, chef at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's in London. He samples both dishes, and chooses Petrozza's.

Next is Angela Hartnett, the executive chef of Cielo in Boca Raton, Florida. She gives her honest opinion and selects Petrozza's again. The third chef is Stuart Gillies from The Boxwood Café at The Berkeley in London. Gillies gives good attention to both dishes, and rewards the point to Christina.

Simone Zanoni, the executive chef at Gordon Ramsay at The Trianon Palace in Versailles, France is up and awards the point to Christina. The challenge is now tied. The final chef is Josh Emett, chef at The Gordon Ramsay at The London Hotel in New York City. Emett tastes each dish and thinks it over. The winner of the challenge is finally Petrozza.

Petrozza can't believe it. His reward is that he will get to choose the first chef from this year's Hell's Kitchen contestants when he builds his team for the finale. This means Christina has to pick the last chef.

However, Christina isn't worried. She says that, no matter who Petrozza picks, they're still cooking Petrozza's food. She knows her food is much better.

Petrozza and Christina return to the Hell's Kitchen dining room to see how far the construction has come. Petrozza is thrilled, but Christina is not. Christina offers some fixes and heads off to try and sleep.

The final day in Hell's Kitchen arrives. Chef Ramsay calls up and orders the two finalists downstairs to pick their kitchen staff. He brings back Bobby, Ben, Corey, Matt, Louross and finally Jen. Jen's goal is to make Ramsay second guess that he kicked her out of Hell's Kitchen.

Petrozza's first pick is Bobby and Christina chooses Corey. Petrozza rounds out his team with Ben. Christina grabs Louross. This leaves two people: Matt and Jen.

Recap (July 8)-FINAL

Episode 415

Petrozza mulls over who to choose: Matt or Jen. He goes with Jen, which pleases Christina. Chef Ramsay sends the teams off to discuss the menu and get their kitchens together.

Petrozza is thrilled about his team. Bobby and Ben are ready to support their friend, but Jen is a wild card. On the other side, Matt and Christina agree to get along. Jen tells Petrozza that they need to be organized immediately if Petrozza is going to win.

The teams head to the kitchen and begin to prep the dishes. In the dining room, the construction crews are still working on the restaurants. Christina decides on some quick fixes that will have her restaurant ready. But things aren't so simple for Petrozza. John the designer has been unable to locate the person reupholstering the booths. There is nowhere for patrons to sit in Petrozza's restaurant.

With Petrozza out of the kitchen, Jen corners Chef Ramsay and asks him to write her a letter of recommendation. The Red kitchen can't believe she did this.

Christina tries to stay on top of Matt because he seems to be losing his mind again. Matt gets frustrated with Corey, and Christina fights to keep him focused. Attitude issues are happening in Petrozza's Blue kitchen as well. Jen fights against Petrozza and the team. She pouts about not making the final two. Petrozza decides that if Jen mouths off, he's going to toss her out of the kitchen.

Chef Ramsay is ready to review the dishes from Christina and Petrozza's menu. Christina's appetizer is three beef burger "sliders," and Chef suggests that she create a variety with beef, tuna and veal. He also thinks her New York strip dish should be cut into slices for better presentation.

Chef tastes Petrozza strudel, which seems to be overcooked. Petrozza's filet mignon is good, but the risotto needs work. Yet Ramsay is thrilled with Petrozza's soufflé dessert. Chef Ramsay notes that if Petrozza can pull of his more difficult menu, he could walk away the winner. Yet if Christina can enhance her dishes, she will offer a good challenge to Petrozza.

With only 30 minutes until opening, Petrozza's booths finally arrive.

Christina and Chef Ramsay walk through her completed dining room. He likes the comfortable and contemporary feel. Petrozza takes Chef Ramsay on a tour, and he enjoys the warm, rustic feel that Petrozza has created.

Minutes before opening, Chef pulls the two finalists aside and reminds them of what's at stake: the chance to work for him at The London in West Hollywood, CA. He warns that he'll be watching them very closely. Christina and Petrozza head back to the kitchens and get their teams fired up.

Chef Ramsay summons Jean-Phillipe to open. The final service of Hell's Kitchen begins.

The first orders come into Christina's kitchen and she barks out the dishes. The Red team jumps into action. Jean-Phillipe hands Petrozza a stack of orders and the Blue team starts with a bold, "Yes Chef!"

Chef Ramsay paces between kitchens, and Christina's Red team is off to a strong start. Petrozza steps up and maintains a high level of quality with his appetizers. Bobby is happy to be helping Petrozza. The pressure begins to build in Christina's kitchen as orders back up. Matt moves to help Louross with salads, but that may have made things worse. Matt is frantic and making a mess.

Petrozza's team has delivered appetizers to over half of his customers, but they're about to hit a snag. They have run out of cheese for the salads. Petrozza starts to spin and the kitchen is behind on appetizers. Ramsay threatens to stop Petrozza's service if he doesn't recover. Petrozza heads to Bobby, who bounces back with a risotto. The team recovers and the risotto fix is a big success in the dining room.

Jean-Phillipe returns two dishes to Christina's window. The steaks are lukewarm, and she orders up another steak dish. Corey jumps on Matt to get him moving, and the Red team scrambles to stay on their feet. Chef Ramsay is amazed as the Red team is able to catch up on the orders.

Meanwhile, in Petrozza's restaurant, the customers are waiting... and waiting... and waiting for food. Chef tells Petrozza to ask for help because he can't get all the food out himself. Ben and Jen step up to assist him.

Matt delivers raw fish to Christina, and she has to send it back. She feels like she has to be a babysitter to Matt, and Matt starts to crack again. He mumbles under his breath and Louross tries to keep Matt focused. Chef Ramsay has had enough and tells Matt to shut up and keep working.

Petrozza battles with Jen's attitude. She is shutting down because she can't stay focused and isn't delivering Petrozza one single good onion ring. Ramsay steps up to defend Petrozza, saying he needs to keep on Jen because she'll sabotage everything.

Matt delivers another raw fish dish, and Christina feels like Matt could ruin her chances at winning the prize. Chef tells Christina she needs to put Matt in line or Ramsay will take over her kitchen. Matt continues to complain under his breath. Matt finally delivers a properly cooked fish and Christina tries to encourage Matt to stay up on his game.

Petrozza's team moves onto their final course with Christina's team close behind. Desserts from both teams are flying out the kitchen and customers are enjoying them. When the last plates leave the window, Christina and Petrozza congratulate each other on finishing the service.

When it's all done, Ramsay rounds up the teams in the kitchen for the last time. He congratulates Petrozza and Christina on a job well done. He commends the teams on there being more highs than lows. Chef tells Petrozza and Christina to say goodbye to their teams and head back upstairs to the dorm.

The two wait nervously in the dorms for Ramsay to make his decision. Chef sits inside his office, going over comment cards and thinking about how each performed inside the kitchen. Chef Ramsay finally summons them back to his office. He admits that his decision has been agonizing because they are two very worthy and talented finalists.

Chef Ramsay announces that it is time to reveal the winner. He asks them to step up to the doors overlooking Hell's Kitchen. Petrozza and Christina stand side by side and wish each other luck. The person whose door opens will be the new executive chef at Chef Ramsay's restaurant. The two place their hands on the door.

Outside, the friends and families of the contestants wait in the dining room.

Ramsay counts to three, and the two turn the handles.

Christina's door opens. The crowd cheers and Christina's mom cries in joy. Confetti falls and everyone celebrates. Upstairs, Chef Ramsay congratulates Petrozza, and the two head downstairs to meet Christina. Although Christina had the least amount of experience, Chef saw the most amount of potential in her. He tosses his pencil down. It's time for him to get out of Hell's Kitchen.

Christina is the winner of Hell's Kitchen Season Four and the new chef on staff at Gordon Ramsay at The London in West Hollywood, CA.
