on a spontaneous vacation???

Anyone ever just felt like getting up and travelling someone without plans? Maybe going for a drive for a few days and see where you end up?

I once did something like that 2 years ago, but turned around after about 8 hours of driving.
 
I did that thing .....2 years ago I was drunk like hell and friend wanted to see me in St Louis I like :wtf: so hell got in car and drove like maniac all way thru TN, KY, IL til I hit St Louis ...friend didnt show up at meeting place I like oh fuck it drove back home the same day......10 hours wasted on round trip :ugh:

Sometime I run away to the country after stress out in big city while I lived there. Driving around the county and spend several days there. feel peace whoa! drive back to big city again, i feel new myself.
 
ummm noope. for one thing, no car yet! if I had one then hell yeah ill b driving to ny all the time lol n u know why hun :D
 
most of my trips have been planned but the one UNPLANNED trips i have taken was on the usa road trip and taking a side trip cuz i was sick IN TN! ugh .....
 
I don't know if anyone heard about this story but during my graduation, after I gave out my Saluatorian presentation, then the principal and president of school announce the person name to get diploma, my good friend Shawn Eaton was called and got his diploma then after he walked off the balcony and he felled to the floor and died.. it was from his heart murmur, unsure if it was seizures or something, anyway I was very upset and depressing after the event, I went to my friend's graduation party as I was invited last minute then after the party was over, from Colorado Springs to Denver my home is about 70 to 75 miles, but didn't want to go home so my family relatives, friend to comfort me, so I decide to drive straight west into the mountain then drove northwest then north to hwy 285 then head east to Denver which it took me 6 to 8 hours driving... I was crazy and depressing and driving on a narrow roads in the mountain, during that time I wonder if I accidently drove over the cliff then I would be in peace with Shawn, but didn't so God must had a other plan for me to live on...
 
Yeah, I have done that two times.
Once, I drove 14 hours to Chicago to visit friends there.
Second time, a friend and I were bored and decided to go to Canada for the weekend, It was like 18 hours to Québec, where my friend live.
Haven't done anything recently, because of my beloved newspaper job, cannot miss a night off. :(
 
and oohhhhh :doh: me I forgot to add I had an impluse trip to Indiana last May to see meet with the wife for first time after 3 years know each other on the 'Net. I just zooooommmm all way to Indiana right after work left 10 PM got into town at 6AM

Boy my brain was confused cuz the Indiana time zone never changes during summer but oh well it was worth the trip :D

Actually didnt proposed her she proposed me 6 months later

Oh yes i know him !! his sisters is my old classmates... what so sad for these day ... also another Shawn was Killed earlier same day as Shawn Eaton .. what so conidence ?
 
:eek: damn.. that's sad and I HATE the state indiana no offense to whoever lives in state of indiana :roll:

3 years later Boy drives up to Indiana meets Girl
Girl ask Boy "take me to Tennessee?" Boy says Yes
2 weeks later Girl Move in with Boy to Tennessee
3 months later Boy anf Girl Break up
Boy meets another Girl at a Deaf Skool Homecoming
2 months later Old Girl steals Boy back from New Girl
2 days later Boy kicked out his home by irate mother
Boy moves back in with Old Girl
1 day later Girl proposes to Boy and Boy accepts it
