Just wondering, could you tell us about it?

I have, numerous times!!

First time was related to my birth in March 1990. the first article was called 3 gifts mum didnt expect and the 2nd was a mother's pride but instant family brings hectic life.

Was in a couple of times. I'v been in paper a couple of times with my school, I was in a newspaper article and I'm singing in 2000 , I also was an ambassador for my school so I got to meet the deaf MP of my local area in 2000, and also I was chosen to go and pick up a cheque from a bread company which donated over a £1,000 to my deaf school in Dec 2001.
Also for signing to the mayor of my local area. I wasn't supposed to be there, it was signing classes for brothers and sisters of deaf children, my brother and sister attended and they had to sign the Rainbow song to the mayor and mayoress, I was just filling in for a sister of a deaf boy as she broke her arm and they needed someone else in 1998.

Yes, the most recent, 2006....several times I've been in the paper/on the news.

Ahh, and the "worst" of times, in the late 70's/early 80's....(hope nobody recognizes me!) HAHA

Yep, been MANY times as a child. I was a gymnast so... one could say I was sorta famous ;) But I'm not bragging about it... you asked after all :giggle:

Hmm... oh and I also was once in the newspaper because I was hit by car :(

And of course, my parents announing my birth...

One day somebody will (unfortunately) have to announce my death... *sigh*.

Hehe!! The photos of me in the papers, arent bad, but the most shocking one of course is an article about my birth

Wow, a gymnast :D:D was that fun?

Ooh! I was also in relating to my irish dancing :D:D they took photos of some girls dancing in my local area, me and my sister was in it!

Of course! I still love it today!!!!! Though no longer practising... I'm an old woman now

I can still do splits, flips and salto and stuff... not all of it... my bones are a lil rusty :giggle:

I wish I was still dancing, I still remember them, but i'm kinda too old for it now hehe

in 1977 about a local Rec program at the park

several times being a delinquent teen and during the hell raiser years
(not named, but I was the "unknown" the police were looking for)
twice for car accidents

Now that I'm cleverly disguised as a responsible adult:
engagement
wedding
9 times for community charity work at that involved my church
7 for volunteering for at school and working with the PTA
(bet the last 2 surprise a few people  )

I was in the paper when my grandmother died and when my grandfather died as I was mentioned in both obituaries. I am assuming I also had a birth announcement, and I think I remember seeing the article, but I'm not sure. I also was in the paper in June of 2007 when I wrote an article about an event at my old school. I thought she was just going to use bits and pieces of the information, but instead she took the whole article and placed it in as a "special edition". It was cool. :) My picture was in there too. :P

A few times.

Announcements for birth and wedding, HS graduation, feature story about my trip to Ecuador, boot camp and journalism school graduations, military promotions and re-enlistments, family obits, three college graduations, and college political science award.

My biggest one was my Navy re-enlistment that was on the front page of Navy Times. It was newsworthy back in the 70's for a mom to stay in the Navy.

When I was writing and/or taking photos for newspapers and magazines my name was in the bylines.

My daughter got her picture in the paper several times because I used her pictures to illustrate some articles (nepotism, heh, heh).

I have few times....

Once was my birth announcement, one about Tucker Maxon Oral School, One about my mom's death and one about my son's birth.

Cool!! So many of us has in been in the paper for many reasons! :D It is interesting to know!

I was in the paper for my high school state softball championship game, for the most # of strike-outs pitched by a single pitcher for a college softball tourney, and for being at a deaf camp when I was 14 years old, and I am not sure if my birth was announced in the paper.

My birth was made clear to the whole of my local area *giggles*

When I was born. I was heaviest baby than any of babies that born in the same year of mine in entire of the city of Portland. My weigh was at 11 lbs 20 oz, but I am not sure if it was correct because 20 oz was over than an oz. I was on the newspaper for that.

And my car was stole during I was working on delievery the newspapers when I was 16 years old, it was on the newspaper.

11 lbs and 20 ounces? U mean 12 lbs and 4 oz? 16 oz equal 1 lb. Poor your mother.

I have been in newspapers several times. One newspaper I hate most was the boy kissed on my cheek when I was 4.

Even more than that, ladies and gentlemen.

I was on T.V numeral of times. First was back in 1993 - about my deaf life in elementary school. 1998 and 1999 was in an hearing awareness week advertisement twice. 20001/2002/2003 for the news of the catholic court case.

Was in newspaper many times in relation of the catholic court case, and deaf -related news.

Twice .. once for the presidents award when I was in HS .. and second ... when my grandmother died ... they put my name in the paper ... :(

There might have been a few other that I don't know ... I have no clue if it was announced when I was born or if my name was included when my mom passed away .. I was to young ...
