Halo 2 finally....gets a review!

Steel I know you imed me on aim last night. I was sleeping.. Hey Who said I don't like Halo 2? :fu: I will buy it this week or next week.. I need three deaf player son my team against the world

Today, by chance I stopped at the EBGames store and saw H2 being played....

I took a chance on the campaign's 1st stage (invasion by the Covies) and man, wielding the SMG and the Plasma rifle at the same time was more badass than H1's Jackhammer rocket launchers! Advice: Gotta be careful when messing with SMG's...don't hold the trigger too long or your aim gets really fucked up bad worse than H1's Assault Rifle.

Gotta love that tough SOB Sarge Johnson! That black dude got more lives than my cat does! .... and watching the opening cutscene with the subtitles on reminded me of the ending in the book "First Strike"......

so advice to my fellow Halo players as I sit on the sidelines...... Read all 3 Halo novels especially "The Flood" since the book describes the story in Halo 1 (remember no subtitles in the cutscenes in H1!)
 
Sarge Johnson? wasn't he in the orginal Halo? I thought he died...lol

I've checked the polls at consolecity.com and your s/n was there saying that u didnt give a shit about that game...lol so I was pissed off about that lol

LOL I know.... It's that weird but of course he was in the original Halo....

You will recognize him yelling at the soldiers during the cutscene that opened the 1st stage (Pillar of Autumn) in H1.

Now you know why cats have 9 lives....Sarge Johnson must got about twice that of an average alley cat!

'Halo 2' makes $125M in opening sales

TORONTO (CP) - North American sales of Halo 2 reached $125 million US in the first 24 hours of the video game's release, according to Xbox parent company Microsoft.

Xbox is calling the launch the biggest in video game history. Halo 2 hit the stores Tuesday in the U.S. and Canada, with some retailers opening at midnight to meet the rush. "The first 24 hours of Halo 2 sales have taken our breath away," Xbox corporate vice-president Peter Moore said in a statement.

"Across North America, 2.4 million copies of the game were sold through, representing $125 million in total cash register receipts for retailers. It's no longer just a huge game for us but has become a seminal milestone for the entire industry."

I've finally got the copy from sam's club for only $48. :D

Frankly enough...I dont REALLY know how to say this because my pants are too wet already...lol.

Halo 2 IS the most anticapted game of the year. so truly amazing, thrilling, and SO FUCKING HOT! :P

Halo 2 will be one of the most memoriable and best selling games in videogame history since Grand Theft Auto III andMetal Gear Solid 2 on PS2 and Metroid Prime on GC.

Halo 2 sure has beat those titles! and I bet it might even beat Metal Gear Solid 3, which is coming to the PS2 next week :P

(and I'm very thankful for this sequel to have subtitles during cutscenes, of course)
