A St Patrick's Day Poem

St Patrick's Day music,
St Patrick's Day drink,
St Patrick's Day merriment,
Grand birthday for me.

All are Irish on St Patrick's Day
Shamrock stickers stuck to cheeks
Bluegrass mixed with Irish drinking songs
Makes your heritage feel complete.

People dressed as leprechauns
Drinking green beer
Living the life of the "Irish"
While making some people sneer.

But the Irish unite around the world
Singing songs on St Patrick's Day
Tapping toes and whirling jigs
While the Fae folk hide and play.

Finnegan grabs his mug of beer.
Paddy works hard on the railroad.
Lanigan dances. Biddy Mulligan cheers.
And down in the valley, the bogs explode.

St Patrick's Day culture.
St Patrick's Day birth.
St Patrick's Day poetry and song
Filled with magical St Patrick's Day mirth.
 
I cannot wait til IRISH DAY... I gonna heavy moaning and heavy smooching my hubby...

Anyway, back to this topic, I am not irish but I will celebrate with some of my Irish pals at some kind of party in Irish pub. Cheers, Irish AD'ers! I will dye my hairs -- green, temporary type, of course...

ow better not pinch me! :giggle: I'm not irish either, but I don't wanna get pinched either so I'll be wearing green and celebrate ;)
 
I am so excited too.. I am not Irish but my husband is! :) So on St. Patrick's Day, we are going to BK(not burger king.. just a local drive in resturant) and we r gonna have hot dogs with cheese, fries with cheese and green river sodas.. yum! I can pitch Jeremy but no one can pitch me because I have emerald green eyes. Hehe! Nathan is gonna wear a cute green sherk outfit.

Now about St. Patrick's Day, I was never one to celebrate this day, although, back over the years, at least I made sure I had some green on me or else I would be sore at the end of the night from all the 'Irish-pinchin' for not wearing or showing the greenish Irish spirit!

Anyhow, have a great Happy St. Pat's Day everyone--!!

Now there's just only one day left as of 12:00 AM Eastern time here for St. Paddy's Day.

Now, where did I leave something green to wear so I dont feel so sore at the end of night from all that pinching :lol:
