I know that there are some people of various faith that believes not to eat 'meat' on Good Friday, during the time of mourning--

There are 'others' that 'fast' which means they do not eat anything at all during this event--

I'll eat meat....

RR - I understand what you mean.....

Mostly, I was not attention what I eating so I am beef eater...

I think Friday is fish only ???

Well, it´s not only just "Good Friday" but I eat fish EVERY Friday. I guess it´s bad habit for me because my Grandparent are strong catholic and get me eat fish when I was 14 years old, also at boarding school, canteen at work, too.

We also eat fish at home when I am not at work, too. It´s bad habit to eat fish. We eat spinach, fried eggs and potatoes sometimes if we don´t have fish in the freezer (something like that I forget to buy fish... )

Yep I Do Eat Meaty Guess It Freaky Friday Since It Good Friday And Also Full Moon :) Awroooooooooooooooooooooo

Eating fish is a good habit. :)

When I was catholic, I used to not eat meat or chicken on Fridays during Lent or on Ash Wednesday either. On Fridays we either ate vegetarian dishes with cheese or/and fish. Now I'm of Baptist faith and it does not require to eat fish or vegetarian dishes on those Fridays and Ash Wed. The reason why catholics had those ritual is because it helped them remember that Jesus suffered and died for us when we don't eat meat. If we don't do anything to remind ourselves that Jesus suffered and died for us, our lives had become so busy for us that we forget until Good Friday or Easter arrives. For me, living christian life every day of our lives help us remember to live right by God. I want to tell everyone Happy Easter, be kind to each other and God bless you all. :grouphug:

agrees with what peachy lady said. Except I didnt grow up catholic. I have been a Baptist all my life. And its true, if you daily live for God, then you don't have to worry about fasting or not eating meat to remind you of what Jesus has done for you.

when I was growing up under strong catholic faith, we would eat fish on fridays.. now I don't give a crap but we do still eat fish on any day , meat on friday.. but mostly we eat veggies....

happy easter to y'all

Good Friday, Have nice meal respect "Thank you God, for blessing our family and have brings good good also pray for others thing... etc etc.. until Jesus, his name *Amen*

That Catholic.. Strongly for fishes rules every friday.... Yes I know..
I'm not catholic....

Just Respect to God "Thanked".. What God provide all peoples... "food,Living, family and much more" That following full of my heart believes... :)

No. Vegetarian here. Sorry -- :D

Oh I thought you eat Salmon? I wanted to say Happy Easter to you. I love your signature picture of floating burnette lady. What webpage do you use? I would pick the one that is dirty blonde with blondier highlights for myself if it has that with different setting.

That depends on your religious practices. Usually, Seventh Day Aventists don't consume pork. I have heard from abstaining from meat on Good Friday, but I don't know what it relates to.
