Hello to all,

I'm an Aussie, transplanted to Canada too many moons ago to mention. I was born with normal hearing, but started losing my hearing on the night of my final nursing exams, shortly before moving to Canada... does this mean I'm allergic to work? :naughty: My hearing is now in the severe/profound arena. I discovered Alldeaf while researching the Phonak Naidas, and discovered some really interesting conversations going on. I'm looking forward to joining in on these conversations, and meeting new people. I'm new to forums, so go easy on me when I goof up.

Ciao for now,
Tracy

:welcome: Tracy was the name of one of my great great grandmothers so I always have a soft spot for Tracys.

Welcome to AD fellow canadian! There are a lil group of us from canada where do u live?

Wow, I disappear for a few hours to take care of the animals, and I come back to all these welcomes! :ty: :ty: :ty:

Bottesini... you remember your great great grandma?? That's amazing! You're so lucky. I never even met any of my great grandmas, though I did know both grandmas well, and loved them to pieces.

Alicia... I'm in a little tourist resort just east of Vancouver. You can see some pics of it here: harrison hot springs - JEWEL OF THE VALLEY Photo Gallery by Tracy Ferrero at pbase.com There are hundreds of pics there, so don't feel obliged to wade through them all :P

Cheers everyone

Hello! Welcome to All Deaf.

Welcome to alldeaf Abizyn. Transplants are good! I have an Aunt who transplanted from the UK to Australia "many moons ago" and my own parents came from the UK to the states with a stop in Canada in between. You will find some really friendly people here, always willing to chat and help.

:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. I came to Canada because of my ancestors (past deceased relatives that were born and lived in Quebec and Ontario). I came to find my heritage roots and ended up in Manitoulin Island thirteen years ago. I met my husband who was born and raise on the Island. Thirteen is a long time and I have family members of mine still living in United States (New Mexico). I hope you enjoy reading and posting all the threads here. Have fun with us. See you around.
