Future Of Gaming

DAMN~!! but what about Holodeck like those from Star Trek?? It can be close to real thing! play thousands of games. full interactive than those one in video. you want to play Quake 1? sure you walk into hOlodeck and become the player shown on screen but no one controlling you from mouse or keyboard but you :D

you want play Halo 1 or 2 or 3 sure! you choose what you like! That's the future of Gaming! Star Trek has already shown that it could happen! :D
 
eh it looks okay to me...

personally, it would proably be more fun if you are playing some FPS games or something like that lol

If it is Holodeck, boy... it will be awesome. What if there is a holodeck of Braveheart or beginning scene of the LOTR movie game? When the game's over, we will be wet by our sweats and lots of labor breathing. In future, mothers/fathers are no longer able to use the excuse that kids did not exercise or something... Haha...
 
Damn! I like racing games and that will be awesome to own. That thing is almost like that Nascar video game that mall has cept they got a 2 seater and rolling cage. 8 bucks a race man. Sigh.
 
Blah! That's very old news. I've played those kind of games many times before. I simply visit the arcade for this. This also seems to be something for racing games. I would rather have something like the holodeck from Star Trek. ;)
 
Yep, something like holodeck would encourage people of all ages to exercise and cut down on the correlationship between sitting on our asses and getting fat from playing video games.

If there's video games in holodeck format, I'd playing Star Wars games such as X-Wing/Tie-Fighter and Jedi Knight series. :-d

Imagine doing dogfights in the space or actually holding and doing saber battles than using keyboard/mouse/joystick.

VamPyroX, well you saw or played these at the arcade place right? But in that video, it is homemade and that guy played the game in his home. Hence why I am jealous :(

Boult, I bet that holodecks will be commericalized and open to the public in 100 years or so... assuming that America is still America in that time. Crime rates probably will be all-the-time low.

Or sooner than we think eh. ;) since there's VR and simulation machine like the video... holodeck will happen. since we can do hologram.. soon soon!

assuming that America is UFP :D hahaha by tha time it will be "what crimes?"
