Hi! My name is Marie. I am hearing and do not have any HH/deaf relatives or friends. I simply enjoy learning sign and about the culture. I am from Michigan and doing an online self-study on lifeprint.com. My teacher name Bill Vicars and he is an amaaaazing instructor. I am a college student studying Environmental Science with a minor in Geology, and in studying this I am unable to learn ASL at an accredited institution. Therefore I would appreciate learning from the community about the community and all of its interesting facts. I fear that, as with any language, I will not retain the signs and unfortunately there are none around me that sign. Thus are there any among you who are willing to tutor/assist me via Skype?
