First-Rate Stamp Price Rises to 41 Cents

I saw it on News last night. They started doublin' the price in 2006. I wonder if they keep doublin' the price in every year ? :ugh3:

Yeah I think postal office lost $$ because we use e.Mails lots!:giggle:
Also Said Package or shipping boxes will reduce! :):)

That's nothing! In Canada it is 52 cents to send a lettter within Canada and 93 cents to send a letter to the USA. Then a mere $1.55 for International.

Yep and my real estate agency send me 2 cents stamps in the mail for me. LOL Thanks to her.

I just mailed the bills within 39 cents postage stamp. I hope not, they return the mails to me. Pay 2 cents more on the postage stamps. :(

Your Canadian .52 is our .47 USD
So, in reality it's only 6 cents more than us. :)

Your Canadian .93 is our .84 USD

Alot of people think that the PO is using 'e-mails' as an excuse to raise their stamp prices. :x I mean c'mon, they're still just as busy as before, still have tons of bills, junk mail, magazines, birthday cards, xmas cards, invitations to parties and what not, and so on. . .

I realize that USPS have no-layoff guarantees, so, they have to find source to spend on staffs. I have hear most deaf work for USPS. Is that weird? Yet, they have excellent benefits as I know...

use paper-less bill, if they have one

Yeah, I use electronically bill on my bank line. Few of them sent to landlord, etc..

It save me alot of money to using on the bank line to pay my the bills. ;)

Doubling? Nah, that's not right. What do you mean? If it was 39 cents in 2006, they doubled it THEN(2006) from the previous increase where it was 19 cents? Something wrong with this statement. Just wanted to make sure what you meant by "doubling".

In two years ago Post Office plan add charge two cents per emails. Government or whom did block them and cannot do that. PO is pissed off. Thanks god we have use email for no charge.

I signed up my account to pay my e-bills two weeks ago. I'm glad that I did it, and it is free. I agreed with you that it is really worth it.

Be advice - It is important to clear out your browser's cache (memory in the preference) after you log out your bank or credit.

I am sick of paying the crap gas and go to the PO to buy a book of stamps just for one small thing.

Not here, they gave me some money and I bring the stamps to their mailbox next day.

I work at PO for two years and I do not have benefits. I have to buy one thru PO and it is not greatm too costly.

That's why I pay my bills online instead of via mail. I hardly mail out stuff since.

Really no benefit? My friends work at Post Office, and they have benefit and 401k. I think they told me about their benefit a few years ago.
