First Deaf NASCAR Driver - Greg Gunderson

Cool...very interesting and thanks for passing along this information. Even his sponsors have 'connections' to the world of the Deaf/HoH, etc.,....simply remarkable and quite an accomplishment too! Let's hope he'll show some cool prowess out on the track as well as off the track this year! :applause:

Other than that, can't wait for Nascar to kick off this season!!

Aint interested in NASCAR but that s good for greg to be first deaf driver. Power to him! Represent us well!

Good for him. So, he can focus on the road rather than hearing of the engine noise or others. lol

Wow, awesome! What nbr on his car? Will he competition Daytona 500 on Feb 18th?

Congrat about first deaf person in Nascar.

No. First Greg has to get at least a year of asphalt racing. He may either go into the ARCA or ASA racing series before going NASCAR. The Kansas Speedway is committed to help him on this when they announced it publicly to the media.

Just keep an eye on him.

I thought Richard Petty was first. He is HOH all of his life and he does wear a hearing aid. I am a big fan of Richard.

Another thing.. WE NEED HOY IN THE BASEBALL HOF!!!! Once again, he is not elected this year. Therefore, why not we start another HOF for MLB. There are 3 Snowmobile HOF so why not another B HOF? Not for deaf only. For MLB! This way, HOY WILL BE IN! How, not allowing writers to vote. Only the good playing records will automatically enroll in the HOF!

My wife is huge fan of baseball and softball and she agrees with another HOF to be based in my hometown since access will be easier with the highways than Cooperstown.

Any of you like to help organize with us we can buy an old building and fix it up into a Hall of Fame. That is what HOF stands for. We will also add all players the same as in Cooperstown but also add Shoeless Jackson, and restore Pete Rose but keep out players with steriods. Also add famous players from other leagues worldwide like Oh of Japan who has over 900 Home Runs! That is a lot more than Hank Aaron!

It will take a lot of work and money! Screw the Cooperstown's version of HOF! Whata ya think guys!! Hee hee! :)

^^ not meaning to go off point of this thread. But you could create new thread about getting Hoyt in HOF then provide an idea of how we can rally and get Hoyt in.

Hey cool!! Good Luck & Congratulations to the 1st Deaf Nascar Driver Greg Gunderson!!

But before Greg can race in the ARCA or ASA racing series he'll need lots (I mean lots) of sponsors to help support a racing team.

Go here for more info:
Kokonut Pundits - they're nothing like a coconut.: Sponsors Needed for Greg Gunderson

And spread the word, too. This is an unique opportunity. And refer the to my blog post link explaining the sponsorship request.

Once Greg has his team he can race for a year in the ARCA or ASA racing series before being allowed to race in the NASCAR series.

Nothing is impossible.
