First day of school for your kids...how did it go?

Loghead, you seem more mature than 11th grade. That's a good thing. Sorry that you didn't get to take another year of French. I liked French. Hope that you like biology!

Some schools here started three weeks ago.

My daughter is grown, and my grandsons are home schooled.

I went back to interpreting at school--does that count?

Everything went quite well on my first day back except for the awful traffic and not enough parking spaces at the campus.

I love my job. :)

Thanks, Sally! :) I really did enjoy taking the French classes... especially since I had a 98% in that class. French involved a lot of memorization... because there are so many verbs and verb tenses!

Thanks, I'm hoping I do enjoy biology. There are a couple of units that really do sound interesting to me... such as the units that involve genetics and the human body.

Liebling. His answer not good enough for you? He answered the way he wanted to.

No, I know how many kids he have. I do not need to post for him because he should answer Jiro´s question himself.

I remind him about Jiro´s question, that´s all.

What´s your point?

That's right, he doesn't need you to "remind" him. He can answer the question himself, if he wants to.

My boys did great! One in the 8th and the other in the 9th....The 9th grader came home the other day, griping about having to take Spanish this year...he said they offered ASL, but it was not on his schedule.....so I wrote the teacher a note this AM, and he came home with all smiles!....He takes ASL starting tomorrow!

That's great!

Bet that your kids are happy, caroline! Sorry that it's so hot. Exactly how hot is it? We get up to 100 a lot. Not pleasant.

My kids had a great first day especially for my daughter who started at a new school not knowing anyone.

My first day back at work went well. I cant believe it has been 2 weeks now!!! :eek3:

All my nieces and nephews went back to school this past Tuesday. They seemed happy to be back to school unlike here. We have a lot of kids around here on my property. When I arrived home from work. I saw two little boys walking like grumpy and tired. Poor boys.
