And women shouldn't get blame too? Wow... lucky women!
If women politicians of power and wealth do that they should get blamed also. But you're the one who posted:

"Are you forgetting that girls do want their power and wealth by seducing men of power and wealth?"

So that's what I replied to.

OK. Any political people (men, women, whatever) who use their power and wealth to take sexual advantage of others or let others seduce them, and in doing so they break laws, or violate political ethics, or commit their offenses in public, then they can be criticized and blamed. They have no excuses.

Does that cover everyone?

Is there anything such as a free pass? Sex always has consequences. Potential pregnancy, possible disease, relationship issues, etc.

Sex with a minor is always wrong and it's never the minor's fault.

Are you forgetting that girls do want their power and wealth by seducing men of power and wealth?

While it is true that if you have connections to high places, you'll likely to have more lenient treatment than if you didn't have connections, that's ALWAYS been like that since humankind.

But sex? You're upset about the fact that he could get women and have sex? When is sex a crime?

And you're on feminist's side? Please get real.

Exactly, netrox. And if he had any knowledge regarding feminist theory what-so-ever, he would realize that the patronizing manner in which he has treated women in this thread is completely sexist and contrary to the empowement that feminism is all about. He has attempted to portray women as poor little subservients creatures with no power of choice or ability to make a decision. So much for being on the side of the feminist.

And, did anyone happen to notice that the quote came from a 25 year old? Shoot, there are people who were alive at the time that still can't get the facts straight. Why would it be surprising that a 25 year old was not aware of the incident that was laid to rest by our justice system several years before she was even born. It isn't political history. It is personal history.

The above quote is preserved for the mods.

Rape is a serious thing, it goes along with the fact that when men do this it's about a show of power and control over a woman....or a teen girl. And what's most shocking is to see time and time again in certain segment of society that gives this rape thing a clear pass as "not a big deal." Rape ruins lives. I know, I had to console a few of my friends who experienced those things in college. I don't take rape lightly.

From my vantage point, it would appear to be jealousy. Someone bitter because they don't have a "free pass with women"?
Wow. Are you actually accusing a fellow AD member of wanting to rape women and get away with it? Unbelievable.

Since when do you actually think the "hearsy" is a fact? I am sure Jillo doubts the story. I doubt it. Why was Ted never charged for rape? Was it because he's famous and powerful? I doubt it. Many famous people get convicted of rape.

So maybe she thinks Ted has a free pass with money and maybe she doesn't. Either way, that doesn't change the fact that she accused kokonut of being bitter for not having a free pass with women himself. This thread has devolved rather quickly into appalling ad hominem attacks thinly disguised as "jokes".

well, clinton would have gotten away with it too... Monica wasn't going to report him.

Well, they like to use terms like "fat cats" while purposely obvlivious to the fact that it is those "fat cats" who shovel out their money in support of the Democrat party. George Soros anyone?

Kennedy clan total worth anyone?

I...I....didn't know!!

Caroline Kennedy: The $100M Woman

Kind of like the insurance fat cats funneling money into the Republican party in an attempt to maintain the status quo and protect their multi million dollar salaries and perks.

At least one poster seems to think there is some mythological "free pass" floating around out there.

And women who intentionally use sexual favor in an attempt to ride the coattails of a politician and grasp at their 15 minutes of fame second hand.

Clinton did get away with the rape of Juanita Broaddrick.

I'd like to see the source of that one. BTW, when I read this at first, I thought you said Cheney got away with rape at first and I was going to ask about where'd you get that information on Cheney. Neither Clinton or Cheney strike me as the rapist type. But then I've been wrong in the past. I just want to know if your source is reliable.

I'm tired if I am confusing Clinton with Cheney so I'm going to bed.

Unfortunlately her claim is lapsed because her case was in 70s which is too old. They can't prove either her case is true or not.

Why she speak public about "rape" case for a first time in 30 years later and soon after Clinton´s affair scandal with Monica, not years before Clinton´s first election? I noticed that women tried to make claim against Clinton soon after his affair scandal with Monica... I beleive that they only doing for money.

Yeah. The FBI said the case was inconclusive.

More like lawyers who keep funneling money into Democrats' coffers just so that won't see a cap on lawsuit awards and make sure they stymie any attempts at tort reform which already affects insurance premiums because of unnecesary awards in malpractice suits. Or maybe Obama's secret-behind-the-door-with-pharmie-guys-in-multi-billion-dollars-agreement-type-of-deals is a no brainer deal involving really big fat cats. Of course, HR3200 bill would offer NO choices down the road regarding the available choices of insurances to choose from since the govt would become your main insurance guy. After all, the govt is not interested in making a profit. Even more so it is not interested in balancing the budget. So, they can continue to print money and offer cheap but basically worthless heath insurances and run the private insurance businesses out of business through . That's is Obama's aim. A single-payer system where he lied that you can still keep your insurance. And we already know that Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security have failed and you expect the govt to be able to handle all this health care and insurance stuff by itself?

Hello! Marty! *knock* *knock*

Look at Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security again. Over $50 billion dollars a year is lost to medical fraud in Medicare and now this single payer system, too? Heck, if the govt can't keep it straight with Medicare, Medicaid and SS then why expect the same thing with the single payer system? We don't even have the money to do this as well.

Hello! Marty! *knock* *knock*

This HR3200 bill is a big Trojan horse for a single payer system. That's the goal. Eveything that Obama said is a big obvious black and white lie.

I see you still haven't managed to read the bill. You keep saying that we don't have the money to do it, despite the fact that numerous posters have offered support indicating that it is possible to sustain. And they have done so with credible information.

Quite obvious, as well, that you have not a clue as to the workings of the insurance industry. But that's okay. Why start paying attention to facts at this late date, when you can rely on propoganda? Again, exact wording from the bill has already been used to refute your erroneous claims. Complete wording. Not the selected passages taken completely out of context and copied and pasted from yet another less than credible blog.
