Favorite Childhood TV Show

Are we feeling like we have one foot in the grave? Nothing like a youngster saying how they feel old.

Well, I'm not quite a youngster but I am young I suppose in comparison to some people :) also I never said I felt old (although I do sometimes). I said, "oh to be young again" in other words it is a wonderful thing to be a child and have no responsibility except for playing with your toys.

ok im a child of the 90's and i loved loved loved rugrats. i still do (i will watch it @ 2 in the morning when its on nick at night) i also really liked bobbys world, eureka's castle, and the show with the dinosaurs (i never can remember the name of it) and big compfy couch (which i have recorded on vhs and my niece and nephew watch it).

i even have a reptar pillow that my grandma made me and i refuse to get rid of it. :D

Did the show with the dinosaurs have people in it? Land of the Lost (I think that was the title) was a good show with people and dinosaurs. I think it was only on for a few years though.

I remember Romper Room!! I also liked Zoom! and on Saturday's we had (this in my early teen years) Dr. Paul Bearer's Creature Feature.

I hated Romper Room with a passion! My younger sister always wanted to watch it and being the baby she got her way!! I remember the Big Brother show. The guy did not know he was not the air and called the kids a name!
Does anyone remember Pinky Lee??? And the show with the nasty froggie??

Batman
H.R. Puffenstuff
The BugaBoos
Lost in Space
Dark Shadows (I was in kindergarten, and my afterschool babysitter watched it. I never did understand what it was all about, but I liked it).

You're a YOUNGSTER! :laugh2: I used to plan my college class schedule so I could be home in time for Dark Shadows, the original one that aired 1966-1971 in the later afternoons. :P

 You like many same shows as my kids! I think you are young.

As for me, Batman! It was the closest thing to captioned tv in the 1960's.

I even had Batman sunglasses.

Loved the Dukes of Hazzard, Land of the Lost gave me nightmares, Miss MaryAnn on Romper Room NEVER said my name, and I loved the shows my kids watched: Doug, Dexter's Laboratory, Rugrats and Bobby's World. (We just got a dog and the kids almost named him Pork Chop after Doug's dog!)

I remember Romper Room!! I also liked Zoom! and on Saturday's we had (this in my early teen years) Dr. Paul Bearer's Creature Feature.

Cool, for some reason I thought Romper Room was Cdn only. I remember I would wait every time for them to say my name when they looked through the magic mirror ("I see Mary and Bobby and Jane and ..."). But, because my name is not a common one, I was endlessly disappointed. Oh the heartbreak of youth! haha
