Fatal Train Accident in South Georgia involving a Teenager

Of course we are all going to wonder why he crossed the railway without looking... hmm... I guess he found himself lost in his own thoughts or something... don't know...

That's so bad and awful!

My thoughts are with his family :(

Oh, goodness. That's awful.

My interpreter told me she knew this 20 years old deaf guy who was killed in train accident in Southern CA. She said that he and his deaf friend were walking on the tracks on the way home. This deaf guy did not hear the train coming, but his friend wore his hearing aids and managed to get out of the way.

I agree with you all to say that the deaf boy should have looked both sides but the question is: He should feel the vibration or something like that. Well, it's so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. :(

Gee... either he wasn't paying attention or he was suicidal? :dunno:

Listen to you guys here made me so mad. I almost got run over by train last December. U will never feel the vibration especially if the train goes 100 mph. I dont want to talk about it because I am still upset about it. Now every time I across I am afraid of it. Now I hate trains. Why does the track have to be so close to home. They should be far away from neighbors and I hate those train drivers assume all of people who tried to across the track are hearing. Leave this kid alone, because he died and it was not his fault. He may have looked but too late cuz the train may go too fast.
