Harrison Lake Sand Castles near Vancouver, BC, Canada

Though it's more a combination of sand & mud, it is STILL a phenomenal sight to see that which has been molded, carved, created by hand with nothing more than raw material supplied by Mother Nature. Enjoy.

Be sure to scroll to the bottom and click on page 2 and then page 3 ... amazing just how talented some people are: Harrison

wow thats fantastic job.. whoever did it must have alot of patience to do that .. wonderful!!!! :)

TJ said he like hte pic of dragon... he loved it! :D

they're awesome.. i remember back those days on my vacation to california.. i've seen some homeless peeps doing similar thing at vinance(sp?) beach requesting for money to support themself and their family.

By any chance, would any of the sculptors be 98 pound weaklings? ;)

Oh, it's hard to be a bully! :) The sculptures are very well done! A shame they don't last forever.

Nice Pictures and Good Find !!!!! :) :thumb: I have seen them in California and Florida. I am not sure about Texas in Galveston but I am sure they do hold sand castle contests there in Texas too.

They are so beautiful ! I admire their talents.

I wonder what tools did they use to make it or they just use their bare hands?
You might be happy to know that Myrtle Beach now claims the world's tallest sand castle. It's 32.5 feet tall.

MB already holds the record for the world's longest sand castle, a 10.5 mile long castle built in 1991.

The team that builds the sand castles is Team Sandtastic.
